So they say it's too expensive to modifiy the pumps.
Alright, how much does it cost to put a 5$ thermometer in the fuel tank, and give them a spreadsheet with the cost difference, and a 2$ calculator. They can lower their prices when the fuel volume changes enough to affect the price by more than say, 3 cents per adjustment. Wouldnt that be fair?
If the T-Cells ever come back or could be supplied by transfusion wouldnt this be a perfect aids cure? No t cells means nothing to produce the virus? Or am I just being wierd and crazy...
Walmart is going to sell Towers, Monitors, Keyboards, Mice, and Speakers seperately. Not the individule hardware pieces of the tower.
Can't anyone read articles before posting them?
The fact that you often pay nothing, or close to nothing for phones that cost $200-$300 unlocked may have something to do with the fact you can't transfer them?
Why should the cell phone company pay a $300 bill so you can take the phone somewhere else...
I'd like to know where you got a 32 inch lcd that did 1920x1080.
If it doesnt do that resolution, why would you care about down-rezzing. You wont be viewing the video in anywhere near it's full resolution anyway. Max of 720P (1280x720) with most lcd's.
I work in a cell phone store, and we're used to this.
A lot of the times it's just a cheap set of speakers or a cheap component in the setup that picks up all the interference. It's a really annoying sound too. Most people should be able to get this to happen by setting their phone right next to a powered speaker (the kind that must plug into the wall and the computer) and dialing a number. Don't have the speakers on too loud when you do this. If you hear nothing, you have really good speakers. If you hear noise, your have normal speakers.:-D
I think the most interesting thing I see is that this budget box with a 2800+ costs more than an identical system with 3200+ and Dual Layer dvd burner at walmart... they're only 498 in the box...
Attempt to post your own story about an email 4 months ago with a $1000 settlement on the 5100 series, and get turned down twice... log into today, and see they've posted one on the 6100...
How was the 5100 not news if this is?
Or is slashdot story posting just that random.
And as I've tried to post to slashdot, TWICE, and been rejected. The XBox 360 is causing enough wireless interference to cause walmart's portable computers to be inoperable. Can't come within 40 feet of the xbox, something the unit is doing is blocking the signals of wireless networking. Microsoft is actually sending out cd's and techs to fix the problem by turning off features...
Thanks slashdot for actually paying attention to stories that MIGHT MATTER TO PEOPLE WITH WIRELESS NETWORKS...
It's a bit of nitpicking but your a dumbass.
10k gold is 10 parts gold and 14 parts other metals. It's 41.7% gold, and the minimum amount that can still be called "gold."
"No AGP or PCI-Express slot!"
What the hell did you look at, a dell?
We sell 3 brands of computers for $600 or less at work. Even the college special at $427 has a label on the box proclaiming one free PCI Express slot for upgrades.
The C64 and the Apple 2 had "Software" with the sole purpose of providing a "System" to "Operate" the hardware devices and accessories the user had attached.
In other words, no matter what your opinion, both had operating systems installed upon them. Especially obvious given the fact that further software loaded onto the systems or run from disks simply told the operating system what was to be done.
"Fuel economy is another reason to drive 55."
Now that's a nice load of BullSh*t.
If slowing down to 55 increases your fuel enconomy, stop driving your gas hog suv and get a vehicle with a 5 or 6 gear transmission. My gas milage peaks at 44mpg at 62mph. If I slow down to 55, I get 41mpg.
How long?
Um... I'm guessing about 3.5 years... IN THE PAST.
Unlimited regional cell phone plans cost about $45. Some even give you roaming minutes for the rest of the country if you travel...
They frown on it huh?
Gee, guess cingular should remove all the little notes on the phones and some of the service pages that say you can use the phone to hook up your laptop using their internet service. If they frown on that sort of thing and all...
Or maybe you should just get your head out of your a$$ and figure out they don't care as long as it makes them money.
Yeah, caved and got a console good idea.
I mean, this way you get to play it in less than 1/4 of the computers screen resolution. As a bonus, you get to pay 30% more for every game when it comes out, and have absolutely no chance of getting an expansion pack. Not only that, you can buy special brand name components at 20% markup and need memory cards just to save your game!....
Wow, sounds like such a bargain... think I'll go get one of those.
How about, we just have an episode 3.5 that goes as follows...
Obi Wan awakes onboard a starship to discover everything that happened in Episodes 1,2, and 3 was just a horrible nightmare. They're starship crash lands on naboo, landing upon local resident Jar Jar Binks in the process, killing him instantly. Jar Jar's head goes flying through the air at a high velocity, coming down in th emiddle of a local pod race and going through the engine of the pod of Annia... sending Annie into the wall and killing him as well.
The jedi then set out and find a less annoying less spoiled brat who isnt called "Annie" and give him the more dignified title of aniakin so theyre can be a darth vader later...

You have to show ID because it's been a law for a long, long time. Computers are just making it easier by reminding people now.
Wal-Mart, K-Mart, all stores are required to see proof of age for purchase of all products distributed in a spray can, as well as anything that can be huffed for a high. Other products on this list include painballs and related supplies, pellet guns, and most obvoiusly ammunition.
Note this is not a "Wal-Mart" policy, but a law requarding dangerous substances. You could actually have any place that didn't ask for ID investigated and fined for not following the law:)
Wow, how fancy.
I mean, 2 other prepaid cell phone companies have been doingt this for about 3 years now. But it's great to have a "NEW" service to do something an old service was already doing.... FOR FREE...

Companies like verizon have been saying for years how "fiber to home" will make dsl faster than ever. They've even gone so far as to claim they will have 30Mbps speeds on it because of the fiber! Fiber to home does not mean your telephone is going to have an optical plug in the back of it. There's still going to be copper wiring IN THE HOUSES no matter how close they bring the fiber.
Not to mention the fiber has such an insane capacity it really doesnt care if it's transmitting voice and dsl signals all at the same time.
Mod the idiotic post down?!?

Walmart sells 4 brands of music download service cards + both brands of satellite radio on cards. So Bullshit, they can buy cards to download music.
