  1. Props to Intel on Intel Open Sources Graphics Drivers · · Score: -1, Troll

The linux community has been all talk about open source graphics drivers and all crap. Let's see what they make out of this open shit now, or if it's gonna be the next OpenDarwin. I hope they make it work well, so maybe it will influence NVIDIA or AMD. We shall see.

  3. Re:Why innovate, if you're just going to stop late on Ask Questions of the World of Warcraft Team · · Score: 0

With 5 players each player is doing a lot more. Maybe the total group DPS is too low, so the preist will have to deal damage as well as healing. Or the warrior can go into damage dealing mode to raise group DPS but they'll take more damage too making things harder on the priest. You have all sorts of options and can play the way you want to see what works for you. Compared to 40-player where everything is a a precisely-scripted minor role, 5-man is far more fun and takes far more skill.

I seriously hope you are not playing on my server. Priests DPSing if mana inefficient. Warrior DPSing is stupid, becuase a mage or a rogue are soooo much more efficient then them, specially in a 5 man instance. That scenario you just presented is ridiculous. What do you want? A 5 shaman instance? Because they are the supreme jack of all trades. Perhaps it's because of people like you that the developers don't listen to the end users. How about you go roll a rogue and get 300 first aid so you can be a rogue healer?

I find it funny that Mr. Feynman got that conclusion. From my own experiences, which are limited high-school, the schools that force the content through memorization are the american schools, while the brazilian ones put emphasis on making the (unwilingly) kids learn (for the college entrance tests, and no more, but that's a different discussion).
In the school I went to, some teachers would even be angry if you asked them a relevant but not in the book question. (Ms James and Mrs Hicks come to my mind. Ignorance breeds ignorance.) Ridiculous.

Now on to what you said.
I believe one of the causes of why teenagers drink stupidously(?) is that alcohol is not something they can see everyday. Inexperience with alcohol with recklessness do not mix.
And inexperience and recklessness with an M4 doesn't kill people? It kills people on both sides.
And the threat of having a draft a constant one in times of war, regardless of anything else.
I just think that it is pure hypocrisy having 'the ages' established like that.

Soon, the ever diminishing freedom that we have will be completelly gone. They're tracking and keeping data bases of students now. Where/when will this end? Nowhere/never. Is the government afraid of college students? Nazi germany started cataloging the jews before they send them to concentration camps. It is complete and utter bullshit to say that selling our freedom in name of security is the right thing to do. Post-spt11 pro-american (the country in this case, not the people. I love the people.) bullshit. Stop being cattle, people. OmG. Oh yeah. Something that amazes me whenever I think of it: In the USA you can give your life for the fatherland (enlisting in the military, 18 years)before you can legally buy alcohol (21).
People were drafted to die in vietnam before they could buy alcohol. This is ridiculous.
