    Actually, I wonder if getting two fans to be locked into an alternate phase (both at the exact same RPM) that they can both cancel eachother out... While not 100% effective, it could be the most reliable method given that the motherboard could monitor both noise and RPM levels of all fans and adjust dynamically on the fly.

    At the bottom of the resource food-chain is energy. We get our oil from the middle east because the sell it to us. If they are in need of it that badly, they would be using it themselves and cut us off compleatly. Besides, once oil runs out, there is always wind and solar energy to draw on... By the way, oil is nothing more then stored solar energy. So resources are NOT limited. Once you have energy, just about anything in need can be synthisized through it.

    Explode with the force of 1/4 stick of dynamite if the cells are faulty. And in this case, I'm willing to bet the cells in the aftermarket Nokia batteries are Sanyo brand. I won't go into further detail due to the NDA I had to sign. But I will say this, when sub-quality manufacturing goes into producing batteries, you have yourself a potential chemical BOMB!.

    Your an idiot! Apple started out this way from the get go when intentional control over it's own hardware and software. M$ on the other hand wasn't to control a platform that is SUPPOSED to be open to the entire industry. But nooo, looks like M$ want's complete control of EVERYTHING that's PC. Pretty soon, there won't be such as thing as an MS free PC if they have their way about it.

    Reminds me of the stuff called Dynagel used for that same purpose. However, preventing hurricanes from forming is a dangerious idea. After all, that's alot of energy that must be released. If you don't let the weather do it's job, it might just make for some nasty side effects later on that would put global warming to shame. It's basic thermodynamics really, you can't destroy energy. So your better off just getting rid of it naturally. And hurricanes seem to do the job just fine.

    Actually, it's harder to get a job when your unemployed then it is when you are employeed. Because, when your unemployeed, any future employer will want to know why and how long you have been without work. But, if you already have a job, then you have a much better reputation for current skill status and thus a better chance of swiching over to a new company.

    I'm perfectly fine with someone trying to prevent piracy. But to implement it through a live net connection is just fucking gay! I would rather pay an extra 5 bucks for an included USB dongle that contained a unique ROM ID number on it. If not that, at least something other then always haveing to have a live connection. Fuck that. Sorry for the french, but damn......

    I don't know why this was modded as flamebait. But the dirty truth is this. DX is the best API to program a game for. Open GL may provide an edge in graphics, but that's all. When coding in DirectX, you get more then graphic support such as audio, and joysticks. But that all said, you will have a few games that run on multipul platforms such as Quake3, Starcraft, Warcraft and Diablo2 to name a few.

    I had this idea. What if we could atach retro-rocket boosters to an astroid (or comet) and redirect it's path toward Mars. Hopefully the release of energy from impact would warm up the planet and maybe melt some of that ice in to water. Thus, giving it a thicker atmosphere.
