Ever made a rocket with a paper match? You know when you surround the head of the match with foil, and stick a pin up it, then heat it up, and launch it? How soon till they ban matches? For that matter, how soon till they ban hydrogen peroxide and silver, which when used correctly together can be used in rocketry. Speaking of foil, excuse me while I put my gold plated tin foil hat on.
I live about 10 minutes north of Bernalillo. I see fields of them many places in surrounding areas. They basicly grow like weeds in many places. Of course perhaps all the siberian Elms and Salt ceders are blocks the views of them. *shrug*
New Mexico seems to have lots of cacti. Perhaps you have not noticed all the cane cholla? Which also seems to have small amounts of Mescaline Maybe that will get you to notice them. (of course i doubt that there is any usable amount in them.)
Just to let everyone know, what this little camera is, is a scanner on its side. Instead of moving a linear CCD sensor back and forth, this is just a linear sensor mounted around a servo. Really basic stuff here.
Plans please. I wish to build my own. On a side note, I've been drooling at some film cameras that kind of do basicly(not all do 360's) the same thing for some time now. Such as the Globuscope , the Widelux and the RussianHorizon, AND of course the Seitz Roundshot.
Of course some has made his own Panoramic cameras in the past.
but the crazy UFO stories need to come to an end.
gaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaar!. Crazy? If I throw a bannana in the air, and you don't know what it is BUT its flying (kind of) its an "unidentified flying object". A UFO. So if someone sees some weird ass, new fangled triangular object floating around and they don't know what the hell it is, wouldent it be safe to call it an unidentified flying object?
Common knowledge is a fine line. One could say that as more and more people know about Echelon, that very knowedge becomes common, and thus you are giving consent. (yeah i know, i'm stretching here)
I just hope that Episode I of Search Engine Wars isn't badly done. That would break my heart.

Do you honestly think this is a slippery slope?

First they came for the big ass rockets and I did not speak out because I don't use them Then they came for the bla bla bla, you know the rest.

Actually most the book stores sell these cute little yellow New Mexico Passports. Unfortuantly I can't find a photo of one online.
because the Intel fab is right in the coverage area. Get your own Intel fab, get your own wifi. Easy. Really.
wrong desert wasteland ;-)

"There's no group of people (no matter how small) that isn't represented somehow on Slashdot."
"Something tells me the Amish are not represented here."
He did say "somehow". Think about it, your computer desk might be amish made.
so i'll have to pay even more to keep my voice this high? *sigh*
baaaah. If MSFT does that, we will combat it with a Borg Cube. :-)

...but this seems like a perverted 1984-vision. Whats next, death penalty for P2P sharing ?
:-)
Only in Texas
I take it you have a sign over the shredder that says: "Disk resurfacing courtesy of BOFH"

What if I don't give consent for the court reporter to record what I say at my trial for the same offense?
so y2k set the clocks back to the 1800's over there eh? ;)
does this site break the patent? I was too lazy to read the article.
