They could fool the iPod into thinking something is rubbing the scroll wheel over and over in at a constant speed. The soundtrack could be synced in with the movie and you'd effectively have a portable DVD player.
I'm still faithful to C++ (just upgraded to Microsoft Visual C++.Net 2003 Standard Edition) and I'm wondering what the differenes between C++, C++.Net and C# are?
I downloaded all the tracks directly (BT was going very slow, and I'm impatient) and am listening to them right now. I'm impressed. Some of them don't sound like they were done on synths, they sound orchestrated.
Anyways, since all the tracks from the game are in this mix, why not hack or devise some way to be able to play the orginal game to this new music?
I've done some light ROM hacking before and I don't even know if this is possible, but I'm just saying, it would be cool to have the new music in the game. It would certainly add some new depth.
I used to play this game nonstop. I remember a few weekends where I would lock myself in my room and play for 18 hours straight. Did the same thing with Super Mario RPG, DKC2, Super Mario 64 and Sonic Adventure.
It's been a while since I actually found a game that interested me. Most games nowadays are all graphics and little story, or if there is a story, it sucks.
I think the new iMac's are ugly as fuck. It looks like they stole the design from Gateway. They should have kept the old design and just added the G5 processor.
Most new DVD players at Wally World right now (using Wal-Mart as an example because their shit is cheap) are between $70 and $100. Thats a far cry from the $700 and $900 DVD players from 1998.
How low does a price have to drop for an item for it to be commoditized? $200? $100?
If that's the case, PCs certainly havent hit that commoditization point yet... unless you count those crappy Wal-Mart ones with no OS.
I'll probably get modded down as a troll for this...
Just because something is open source, doesn't mean it's free as in free beer. They're offering the source at a cost; you still have access to the source, just at a price. This doesn't violate the GPL license.
What's wrong is that you open-source hippies expect everything to be free and downloadable. Under the GPL, I could take the Linux kernel and re-write most of it and make my own OS and charge $699 (pun intended) for the software and source, which would be fine and dandy, because I'm still making the source available.
Of course, if you're Microsoft, just let the source code blow out of the window...
I wonder if DSLreports can handle a slashdotting. I guess we're about to find out. I've Been going there for a few years and the site has always been up.
Skynet is being formed! Oh NOES!!11

I've always wanted to see hi-def goatsee and tubgirl. ;)

"Captain, we got something on the radar..."
"What is it?"
"Well, sir, it's too big to be another ship or a meteor... to me... it looks like... like..."
"Like what?"
"Like a planet."
"A planet?"
"Ah plah-neet!"
"A planet??"
"Ah PLANET!!"
Check coordinates, ildo.
Actually, the Nintendo CD addon was released - it's called the Playstation.
Hey everyone, it's what Donkey Kong Country would've sounded like had it been released on the Sega CD!

I miss the old days.
This wasn't on the A+ certification exam!
The G4 had dual drives.

I won't be buying one of these.
Or a G5 until they add another optical drive.
... and thought that the source for Counter Strike had been leaked...
That the person in the story was finally using Longhorn on his computer, because it had been released in 2013 (minus WinFS).
When I first read the article name I thought Mozilla had once again changed Firefox's name.

So, how long until we see PCs for $50?
The one that crashed was running Windows 98 and the one that exploded was running OS9.
At least there was no one in there, lol.
This town will soon become a favorite stop for people looking to anonymously release viruses into the wild.
I learned how to code HTML and IRC on a Dreamcast. It was pretty fun.

Good. Microsoft needs to learn that Windows users aren't clueless about how to properly secure and run a computer.
Ok, that was 19 words.
XORG is much better than XFree86. I love the fact that with open source projects anyone can take the code and improve upon it vastly.
Way to go, XORG team!
