What if instead he had said, "Stop acting like we're all the same. Jews have things to contribute, so adapt the workplace to their needs instead of molding it for a virtual template of a generic humanoid that does not exist"?
A basic workplace adaption for Jews. Ensure the Friday workday ends early enough for them to get home before it gets dark.
This kind of accommodation is not unusual. It may be that the person(s) comes in earlier on Friday than other days, but it's still a change because no one is a generic humanoid.
Yep, except I've upgraded to the PS4. It handles Amazon, Hulu, Netflix, and Youtube perfectly. It also talks to my Asus RT-N66U router with a built in media server so I can view videos that I've downloaded.
If you outlaw hate speech, just define anything you dislike as hate speech and you legally shut down the opposition. Take, for example, groups like antifa. They call anyone to the right of Stalin a nazi. They define speech they disagree with as hate speech. Then they use violence to prevent speech because stopping "nazis" and "hate speech" is a good thing.
Uh, no. Police work is not all that dangerous of a job. Cops who die on the job mostly die from car accidents because they drive like idiots, or from heart attacks from all those donuts.
Since the police have no legal duty to protect my ass, why should I care if they are in danger? Am I supposed to grab a gun and run to their rescue - probably getting shot by cops in the process since they such scared little girls who like to shoot people?
The Constitution does not grant members of the press any more or any less legal protection than anyone else. The press has been pushing this myth for decades, telling everyone they are special. They aren't special. Freedom of the press applies to EVERYONE.
I do agree with your claim that the press has a moral obligation to disclose all relevant facts, whether they like them or not.
As for your last statement, demanding a platform. No one should be able to get a special platform, but everyone should have access to the same platforms. The trend on college campuses to shout down speakers you don't like should be grounds for academic punishment, e.g. suspension. If you don't like a speaker because he's too conservative or too liberal for your, don't go to the lecture. But going for the specific purpose of preventing the speech should result in expulsion on the grounds you are too stupid to be in college.
Yes, we get it. Every single medical problem throughout history is caused by meat. You vegans/vegetarians are as clueless as anti-vaxxers. Also, your farts are a bio-hazard.
Antifa are the ones who violently protested a conservative gay man from speaking. Antifa are the ones who violently protested a conservative jew from speaking.
Neither one of these antifa targets are even remotely nazis, but according to antifa, they only use violence against nazis. Their definition of nazi is "everyone they disagree with". Antifa believes all republicans are nazis. They probably include moderates since they aren't far enough to the left.
I was told that with the new devops imitative, we (system admins) would be merged with the developers and we would all do the same job. That I would become a php coder. I basically told them that I am a system administrator because I enjoy being a system administrator. I am not a php coder because I don't enjoy being a developer and besides, I am a crappy php coder. I made it quite clear that I have no intention on becoming a code developer. I suspect I will have to quit within the next year or two.
If it was just being able to write deployment script, there would not be an issue. I already do that as a system administrator.
But if you're an exempt IT employee in the United States, unpaid overtime is your real enemy.
Keep that in mind the next time a clueless manager wants you to install and maintain a system internally you do not know much about.
My time estimates do not allow for unpaid overtime. My manager will get it when I say he will get it and no, I am not coming in on the weekend to speed it up. My time estimate also takes into account my other duties required for regular maintenance on existing infrastructure and if an emergency comes up with a higher priority, my estimate gets tossed out the window.
If you are putting in lots of unpaid overtime, you are an idiot.
The cloud is way overrated. Too many people think it's some kind of dues ex machina that will magically solve all their problems. From my experience, the cloud is great if you start your project from scratch on it. But if you are trying to move a large legacy cluster to the cloud, you are in for a whole lot of hurt.
On a related note, the NRA says everyone should own and learn about guns. Surprise!
Which is why I got my firearms teacher certification recently. Everyone should learn about firearms for safety's sake. Not everyone should own one.
I'm on the older end of the geek scale and I couldn't change my job if I wanted because of the rampant age-ism in Silicon Valley. I'm a senior level Linux system administrator, but no one is interested after they see me in person and realize I'm in my fifties.
The Soviet Union's constitution guaranteed free speech, be did not allow propaganda. Since the soviet government was the sole arbitrator of what constituted propaganda, the guarantee of free speech was meaningless.
He didn't voice his opinion publicly. He voiced his opinion in a private company blog after Google asked him for his opinion. Then someone leaked it.

Pandas are going extinct because of their preference for bamboo. Intervention by humans is only delaying the their eventual demise.

God created economists so that weathermen would feel better about themselves.
Since Apple's corporate headquarters is in the U.S., we get the money first.
A good reaction to this demand is to set all the top search results for "Putin" to be related to organized crime and corruption.
See who caves first.
I've lost my toenail clippers.

Unless it threatens the bottom line.

Antifa's definition of nazi is anyone who is to the right of Joseph Stalin.
I look forward to seeing Antifa accounts suspended.
Kanban is just another word for "waterfall" because that term has a bad reputation.

It's polite compared to what came to my mind, "are you fucking stupid?"
You proved my point.
