I did find learning about sports interesting but had zero interest in watching them over and over again, thank fuck the internet allows you to pretty much censor spectator sports pretty much out of your own personal existence. I will of course always enjoy trolling them.

Only the cheapest oil suppliers will survive the market and only oil which is readily processed for the new processing only market will be traded. Also in the much smaller markets, some countries will be declared undesirable supplies ie Saudi Arabia, with a preference to maintain local production to supply hugely reduced demand. Of course stocks in oil companies will get dumped into pensions funds, privatise the profits and socialise the losses.

The fossil fuellers did a quite corrupt job of fending over the changes via professional PR=B$ agencies but it was inevitable, as well the dumping of fossil fuel stocks into pension funds, via ones means or another, especially those oil sources that will shut down because it costs to much or the oil is crap for processing for other uses.

Nope, only a psychopath would think high job turnover is desirable. You have employment costs, not just advertising but hiring and replacing bad staff. A person with high job turnover should immediately be flagged, they are very likely to be an extremely bad employment investment, cost of hiring, cost of training and lost employer acclimatisation, which affects other employees as well. A transient employment market means, zero loyalty, basically employees selling your company expertise to their next employer and as an employer making no effort to retain them means spreading you proprietary corporate advantage all over the place. The more employees you put through your business, the more likely you are to pick up a transitory psychopath, who can absolutely ruin a company in short order (create chaos amongst staff, take credit for other people's work, blame other people for their mistakes and plot and scheme to steal everything they can).

For millennia, people were smart enough to know employer employee loyalty produces real benefits. Now that the psychopaths have taken over, everything is a lie, whilst the psychopaths try to cheat as much as they possible can, this quarters profits and golden parachute, taking down company after company.

Reality is the end of net neutrality would hugely negatively impact the majority of businesses. Any company that wants to deal directly with consumers is under threat, any company. All can have their traffic crippled to favour competitors, especially those competitors with investments from the telecom executive team. Their traffic can be strangled right off, made to be intermittent, be interrupted by commercials for competing product and that is regular product not content. Anyone distributing high volume content can be put out of business. Make your own music and wish to sell it, nope not without the approval of the ISP publishing arm, either they publish your content for a cut or you get strangle.

The end of net neutrality favours something like 5 companies hugely and disadvantages say few hundreds thousands companies enormously. Those companies are already seeing the customer data being syphoned off by US telecoms, now those telecoms will be able to listen in and cut off traffic if the ISP taxes have not be paid. It is mind bogglingly corrupt to listen to a handful of companies whilst hundreds of thousands of companies are going to be screwed over, their customer data being pried into and sold to competitors and that is when traffic is allowed to flow through. No net neutrality and not only go you be extorted to pay for any normal speed but you can pay to take out somebody else's speed, buy up the bandwidth on the line that connects them to strangle them out of business and it can happen real fast, a month or two is enough to cripple many businesses.

  17. The government is in a position to enforce those claims by the simple expedient of secure by design rules. The Drone swarm (thousands of drones) is best at clearing out dug in defences, think terrorists in cities. Fly in thousands of drones and they seek out targets, approach and if destroyed, that loss of signal sends two to the lost location and if the two go down four go in. The drone wants nothing more than to embrace you with it's golden light, which it will do unless you follow it, to a surrender point. They need a reliable distributed network to get video information back from the drones to approving officers, not to kill more effectively but to allow people to pass to the surrender points. Dependent upon size you could assume a 3m kill range and 7m disable range upon drone detonation. It might seem expensive to send out thousands of exploding drones but unlike artillery or missiles they can fly back be disarmed and sent out again, ever park and monitor for a surprise attack.

Not open battlefield but a set target area. Think a swarm, operating at around 100kmh, 10m spacing, hi lo on the leading edge, across a thousand metre front 100 metres deep (even a 10,000 metre front is entirely possible), sweeping and clearing a target zone in minutes, with all combatants targeted and surrendered or eliminated. To dig deeper (blow open doors and enter structures) or escort prisoners back (walk or die), drones would drop out of that formation. Upon completion of sweep those drones that did not self destruct to take out groups or individuals return, to be reused again (some would park out in the battlefield to monitor the situation and either call in more drones or target and destroy). Designed basically for advanced armies to mass murder encamped defending populations. There is no surviving.

When drones are destroyed by defensive fire they should detonate and create a obscuring cloud, to allow the next drone approach more closely (target acquisition time, aiming, firing, at 100 kmh means the drone swarm leading edge will always overwhelm defences).

If defence of course, a modern defensive force could of course send out it's drones to target your drones and home field advantage, your drones will be supported by defensive fire, their drones will not be and once you drones are gone, their drones could of course advance and target your launch systems. Expensive planes, tanks and ships will just be targets for drones, which they will not be able to resist. The trick with drones, the real trick, a secure self destruct system just in case with a continually rotating encryption system that only locks in upon launch and tied to individual drones, you absolutely can not use them without a reliable secure self destruct.
