I believe LILO & Stitch did pretty well, and even though it wasn't REALLY Disney, i'm glad that Spirited Away ended up doing fairly well for itself after the Oscar win...both amazing 2d movies!
I haven't used Myth, but wouldn't it be better, if instead of automatically skipping commercials, if it automatically didn't record them. or if it had to, it should go back and delete them to free up HD space and record more crap...
surprised no one has mentioned it, but I think Kill Bill was probably my favorite movie this year. i can't think of another movie that i had more fun at, and thought that everything about the movie was basically "cool" the soundtrack is amazing, props to the RZA.
i liked X2 and a couple of indies like Lost in Translation and Thirteen as well...
this has definitely gone on too long. if they're saying that the offending code is currently open the world....they just say lines X-Z in module Y are ours, take them out or we'll sue.
instead of:
-where is it?
--not telling
-then we can't take it out
--we'll sue, but we still won't tell
is that true? That you lose the trademark of a generic term. what about things that become generic, like google ("i'm googling for x") or Xerox ("can you xerox this for me?") or Jell-o ("want some jello?")
I've already seen this done sometime ago with people using pages to spoof earthlink and trying to collect credit card info. Do yourself a favor, and if there's any links included on the site, put your mouse over it and hover to see the address in the status bar. This IE flaw won't disguise that (i hope), it should still say
spoofingsite.com/spoofed.html or whatever
or also, if you're trying to be really careful, do a view source and see what address the form is POSTing to...
or even better, use a different browser:)
i'm sure someone has said this by now, either student discount, or refurbished.

the new shareaza beta is amazing, hasn't crashed, but it includes the gnutella, gnutella2 (mike's...),edonkey, and bittorrent
download here
PS: No Spyware
reminds me of that commercial that was on some time ago, where everyone is in an all staff meeting and then they disclose that they've been hacked....
everyone celebrates
(it's supposed to be "whoohoo...we're big now, we've been hacked"):)
50 cents apiece? i hope you turn off your tivo-automagically-record-anything-you-think-i-mig ht-like feature, or you might get a huge cable/tivo bill:)
I'm sorry, I couldn't tell if that was sarcastic or not. But at the very least they should do the cost-benefit of your last statement.
"...how many more people will buy it if it's cheaper"
basically, i really believe in the above concept. if it takes me 2 days to download a dvd-r from suprnova, when i could have have just bought it 8-10 dollars, I think most people would. if it's going to take me a day to download an entire album at full quality mp3, when i could have just bought it for 6 bucks, i think most people would do that too. even thought the bandwidth is "free" it's really not, you're paying a monthly bill for it, and you could be using it to do something actively on the net at full speed. instead of, "i'm downloading 5 different files, so my connection is ass slow for the next 3 days"
people just want convenience, and cheap.
i believe it was called WASTE and you can still easily find it on places (like suprnova.org) and other places, hopefully something will come of it soon. since Nullsoft (justin) also released the proof of concept Gnutella client and that's huge now, hopefully the same will happen with WASTE.
would it be screwing this company? not really, i think jobs already said that they don't really make any money from the music, it's in the ipods. it'll be kinda of costly to patch quicktime AND all the ipods out there. they might just ignore it since they already have some contract with the record companies, that i hope says something like "we can't be held accountable for file hacking" you can say something is secure (today), but you can't really make that guarantee for life.
that's funny that you would bring this up...i actually work for a testing company that handles "the little bubble sheets," you wouldn't believe how many people can't bubble. I've seen everything from spelling their names backwards from right to left, to filling in all the bubbles on the same column, and worse...if they can't even get past their name, i don't know if i want the presidential election counting on them either...but I guess there's problems with all the voting systems. I'd much prefer the electronic voting.
Just because there's currently a glitch, doesn't mean we should just toss the idea, just come up with a better one. I personally do like the preregistration, with the PIN numbers and then vote online. once you've used up your pin number and voted for everyone, that's it, expired.
it's be an easy as hell tally as well,
select count(*) from candidates where name='whatever'
i'm not exactly sure what Final Fantasy was rated, but i thought it had excellent animation as well as a great story line...but I don't think it faired too well in the theater (money wise)
ya...formula moviemaking? well, it sounds like you didn't even like the first one "not worthy," so why the hell would you watch the sequels? SOMETHING must have interested you.
>>but I think the Mozilla lizard is just fine as far as logos go.
I think that's kind of what he says, it's "fine," but not GREAT...there definitely has to be a better alternative for logos.
i believe the same is true for student discounts, so you might be able to just walk into a university book store, tell them you're a student and get it discounted...or get someone to get it for you that is a student...or sign up for a community college class, $30, and get it, and you still got it for $95 and you got a class that you might learn something in anyway...
I believe LILO & Stitch did pretty well, and even though it wasn't REALLY Disney, i'm glad that Spirited Away ended up doing fairly well for itself after the Oscar win...both amazing 2d movies!
yes, 250...he's on crack. maybe for $100 it'd be good considering 2 years ago i got a refurb 5gb for $190!
maybe he bought the $16,000 itunes song on ebay :)

yes, brother bear is currently doing very badly, but Disney already has the biggest movie of the year (i think), Pirates of the Carribean
ya...formula moviemaking? well, it sounds like you didn't even like the first one "not worthy," so why the hell would you watch the sequels? SOMETHING must have interested you.
does anyone know if iTunes disables ephpod as well?
or xplay or whatever it's called?
has anyone fully tested ms access? do vba modules work? i somehow doubt it, but it'd be great to know.
you don't see this with windows 'cause: A) it sucks B) the pirated version came out a month before release, so everyone had it already :)
I thought that box looked familiar
