I have to agree with you there. WoW was the first MMO where I actually found myself reading up on the history in game. I'd actually find books lying around in game and sit and read them to take a break from 'LFG xxx'.
If you want to get into names, CoH had some great ones for the Freakshow. They were all h4xx0rz.
You fail for not understanding the difference between multiplication and exponentiation. I would have accepted, (DR)^2 or (Dance Revolution)^2, though.
I would assume that since [presumably] it's a multicore, PPC CPU, it would be capable of running, in hardware, instructions designed for a PPC CPU on the same evolutionary line.
This may be true for older kids, but all the children I know who started playing before the age of five are borderline retarded.
While I don't disagree with you, you can't blame it entirely on video games. I was playing video games since I was probably 3. I played my dad's Atari 2600, then an NES a few years later. I seem to be functioning fine. Key points, I didn't play them constantly, and I also had other extra-curricular activities, such as reading, baseball, and playing with neighborhood friends. OTOH, I know a 4.5 year old who has never played a video game, but I still can't understand a word he says. Point being, the children you know are probably borderline retarded because of their parenting.
I've had two die in my house. But it could have been because they were played for at least 4 hours a day in a smoke-filled house. My best guess was the eye stopped reading the disc. IIRC, it was some disc read error on both of them. It's been about a year and half since it happened, though, so I don't remember all that well. But it was more than likely a user problem, and not a problem with the build.
I think it could be possible for consoles to handle an MMO, if a simple enough control scheme was established. I also think the Revolution could handle FPS and RTS as well as a PC for most users (the ones who don't memorize every hot key).
KDE-PIM connects with KMail, KOrganizer (Calendar, To-Do), KContacts, and KNotes (probably a few more, too). But I can't comment on how well it works, as I use them all separately, and rarely sync my Palm.
You might be right. But I'd say in 99% of the cases of a company moving to Linux/Apache/MySQL they are moving from Windows/IIS/MS-SQL. I can't give any numbers about Microsoft's policy when a company stops paying them for a product to use an open source equivalent, but I doubt they'd lay off entire teams of people because a few companies are no longer their clients. They're not going to go bankrupt because of it any time soon.
That was my plan since Tuesday (or whenever they announced the Intel MacMini). Now I can have a good, small form-factor box with DVI output to connect to my TV. And because it's an Intel processor now, I can have a reliable mythfrontend (hopefully).
The machines he had asked us to scan were on EE/CIS research network. If I remember correctly, he explicitly asked us not to scan any other machines outside of the research network.

I enjoy golf by buying clubs at Goodwill and other second-hand stores. I've probably spent maybe $50 on supplies in the 4+ years I've been playing. Add to that the $10 fee I pay whenever I feel like playing. It ends up being cheaper than some other hobbies I have. Yeah, I suck... badly. But its still fun.
What are you going to tell me next? Flames and checkered flags don't make it go faster either? What about 3 foot spoilers? And soup can tail pipes? Say it ain't so!

But then, next thing you know, it'll be that Pacman is causing drug use in our troops by teaching them to eat random "power pills".

I prefer to call it Dance^2 Revolution^2

I believe NetCraft may have confirmed it, at one point in time ;)
I assumed that since it was a discussion about video games, they were implied as being a new type of media.

Super Mario Strikers (Gamecube)
Not everybody has the tons of money to pay a lawyer to make sense of all the patent filing fees to patent every good idea they have.
Probably since Alienware's website mimics Dell's and also sells business, professional, and government desktops and servers.
I saw a rumor a few days back about Dell buying Alienware. I saw this website a few months back and assumed the same thing.

You deserve to go play FFXI at 640x480 resolution with low res textures :P

Last I checked, there was a lot more to the Revolution controller than just the shape.
Perhaps we should offer someone in India the job of American President for 1/10 of the salary he makes. Then we'll see how much he supports it.
Last I checked, about 3/4 of IGN's staff were trolls getting paid to praise EA and/or Microsoft.
As it should be, as portage is based on (at least the idea) of ports.
Would someone please follow the related links and read them?

I was in the same class :)
