This may be a stupid question but dont we have this in canada? Or atleast in ontario we do, its called the OHIP card and you cant get health care without it. It contains all your info and even has a pictures. I just dont get what the big deal is, we all carry drivers licenses anyways.

And in all honesty, unless you leave your mail client in "preview mode", which you should NEVER do anymore because of Outlook and its ability to 0wnz0r your system from an email, then opening the email through double click makes sense. And in most mail clients it will open it inline, not in a new window.
Just wait until FOX is bought out by Microsoft. Microsoft is just itching to get into the broadcast industry and is making small headway, but once they buy a media company it will be over. And yes im aware of MSNBC but thats a parternership.
Dude, i so agree with you. When you work for a company you dont care about it affects you. I was in the same position, a dot-com company small admin team doing all the heavy lifting for pittance. For the record we were all 'Senior Unix/Linux admin' making between $33,000 - $36,000 CANADIAN(!) so thats about $28,000 USD. And the worst part was is that we were the only thing keeping the company running. If we all walked one day and demamnded more pay ( all the owners of the company drove convertable audi's, mercedes etc so the company was doing really well financially ) the company would be screwed. But it was never going to happen. I left after about 8 months and got a MUCH better job as an IT Auditor. But back to my point, the best part is that our 'boss' who was also the VP of R&D was always on our backs all the time about productivity, but whenever he left no one did anything cause they all knew they were getting ripped off.
I think this is the major difference. In GTA killing a hooker doesnt get you any 'RealWorld(tm)' money, just fake money in a fake world. The difference is this person was killing fake people for fake items that had an actual value. Its akin to someone walking in to your house with the window open and stealing a vase and selling it on ebay. The items have value and someone took it from you.
More likely the mac fan boys will be al upset and use heavy CAPS and act like elitist jerks. Its just a stupid operating system. Whats the big deal. So you over paid for a stylized toaster that runs a nice *BSD derivative. I didnt, i put OSX on a free computer that i got from work. Its just cool to be able to do that. Then when they get to univ. its more about saving money for school than paying for games.

Your comment is probably supposed to be funny. But think how awesome it would be to come home have a bunch on content to watch on TV, so much so that you cant watch it all. So you plug in your PSP or your iPOD select which shows to copy over and the box converts them and puts them on the machine. Then the next morning when you're ready to go sit on the train for an hour on your way to work you have something to watch.

Why MMOs? This game sounded interesting, why could they have just made a game which had a story and you play through the game. I dont understand why every damn game out there has to be an MMORPG. Maybe because im older now and dont have the time to spend 6 hours a day playing a game, but damnit im not going to pay 12 bucks a month just for right to play a game i bought. Oh Well.
Cuckoos Egg is my favorite book. Fantastic read. The only problem with 'How to own a continent' is that its listed a computer book and there fore 80 smackers. For a work of fiction thats a little steep.
Could someone actually provide some good novels that take place in Cyberspace, or are closely involved? Books such as SnowCrash and Neuromancer were great but other 'cyberpunk' books i read have very little to do with cyberspace and more to do with the dystopian future. Yes yes i know thats the cyberpunk theme, but really i want books that involve hacking etc that wont cost 80 bucks.
