This is not to troll, but this is what I've been saying to my Linux pals a couple of time when Linux vs OS X has come up.... That Linux want to become Mac OS X.
Major applications ported to it. (no WINE)
Lots of games. (not Tuxracer!)
And it's cool... (not trying to copy existing GUI's)
To think... Maybe one of those gaming caffe's have Red Alert 2? Then Iraqies can play as themselves in a war game! But to their disappointment, they're on the bad side!:-)
Sometimes the industry doesn't know what's best and the consumers don't know what's best, and here is a case of it. Thank god for the FCC to push this forward, otherwise it would've been stalled and stalled more than IPv6.
I don't understand why people say that iTunes is buggy and problematic because it's Apple's software. Please... I installed it on 30+ Windows computers this Friday and not a single one of them had any problems what so ever till this day.
I didn't even restart them after the installation, which proves that I like to live my life on the edge!
Hello? The Macintosh has existed for a long time. How come we suddenly don't exist to certain people? We have Office and ALL major programs, so I see no problem what so sever to switch.
but SoE has a good track record, when compared to companies like Blizzard. Has Blizzard even put patch 1.10 for Diablo II out on Battle.net, yet? What is it, now, 14 months?
Don't go after Blizzard because it just make you look stupid. Diablo 2 is soon four years old. Can't you cut them some slack for releasing a patch that's the size of an half expansion pack for free?
Is it me or does it look like the movie will end with a typical Hollywood ending? Kind of sad really since the movie is so untypical Hollywood in every way -- this movie actually made me think for a change!
Everybody should know, as we live in a democratic society:
Doing a parody is a given right in democracy.
I do not, however, know if this Simpson episode broke copyright laws. Anyone helpful enough to explain?
Am I missing somthing?
Yes. A shelf of Linux games.

One picture like that made him fired? What about this picture?!
Will this satellite photo piss off Microsoft so much that they send their ninjas off to assasinate me?

If hell froze over, where the heck is my Duke Nukem Forever? ;-)
Is this the reason why Software Patents are good? This can be prevented if the creator of that tool/utlility created an original idea and patented it.
This is the reason why Apple is the company they are, and that it took them to make how the world is today.
I don't think saving $2 on an album is that great of a bargain when the compression is lossy
Good luck. If you can tell the difference between an ACC encoded song at 192 kbps file and a raw AIFF you might as well go back to vinyl.
The only problem with ITunes is that it uses MP4 files (DRM'ed). If they changed the format to MP3, I'd buy it in a second. Until then, Kazaa it is...
Then you're going to be using Kazaa for all eternity. There is no way in hell that the RIAA is going to permit you to download unprotected songs.

Invest money in making better products: Expensive.
Badmouthing competitors hoping nobody will use them: Free.

Duke Nukem, Serious Sam, Max Payne...

If Microsoft removed Explorer from Windows. How would I download my browser?
They're trying to make bald old white guys seem "cool" to the general public?
Sheesh... Good luck with that! My guess is that they won't even top smoking cigarets.
Use a non-WIndows operating system.
1. Release huge DVD set of all episodes only in 1000 copies.
2. ????
3. Profit!

Not by calling them whores.
It's Anti-American to have a monopoly.
Regardless, doesn't MS have about 45 billion in cash?
Yes! That's what makes this such an excellent plan!
