  2. And then what? on Smart Bullets Phone Home · · Score: 3, Interesting

So, after the bullet hit a target, it transmits information back to tell for example where it hit, damage made etc.
The fun part starts if the host could transmit data back to the bullet, telling it how to operate next. Who knows what it can do? Explode, burrow etc...
    O.O
This will be the end of cool action shooting scenes in movies though.

  3. The true meaning? on Bob Muglia on Longhorn Server, Linux and Blackcomb · · Score: 2

What the gentleman is trying to say is "We will try to make the next version of MS Windos as much alike Linux as possible".
That's about as simple as it gets.
    O.O

  4. So what? on Flying Car More Economical Than SUV · · Score: 5, Insightful

Well i guess that the fact of a vehicle being a bit more "economical" that others does not make it better. There are alot of other features; support, part prices, driving abilities etc.

  12. Who mentioned communication in the first place? on Vatican Astronomer Comments On Extraterrestrials · · Score: 1

I am very sceptical to the question of communicating with extra-terrestials, or further even understanding them. Let's say we get an oopportunity to travel to another planet, and find out there is life. Does this life have to be creatures we can and must try to communicate with?
The example goes on. We soon find out this life is just some strange greenish worms, not able to make sounds, etc. Just like worms on our planet. hencefore, the question is, what will be thinking of in first hand? Making them religious.. or further research..?

  16. Keys on Microsoft Security Updates for Pirated Windows? · · Score: 1

The real problem comes to when installing service packs to Windoze XP. Normally, when you have a cracked edition of XP, you never activate it on the net. Tho', when installing a service pack, it requires to re-activate the account (even if not yet activated). After you installed the package, you cannot start up windows without activating it, which leaves you with a totally unusable version...

  17. Swedish trends on Kinetic Sculpture Race 2004 · · Score: 5, Interesting

They do the same thing here in Sweden a couple times per year. Here, the people have to build large cars, with even wings at the top, and then roll them at full speed down a large slope, which ends with a bridge, where they, looping and turning, fly (at least try to fly) down into the water from a 8 meter height. Real fun to watch :)

After that came ASP, then my dad got me into PHP, i did some Java, now i'm stuck with C. Although, i still feel the urge to open up a Windows command line, and type QBASIC.
