    Ahh, that was my favorite show when I was a kid. Good times. Surveillance cameras in stores are the same thing as in schools. Even if they only capture one crime or violent act per year, it's worth it, don't you think?

    With the amount of money netflix is making (in the billions), a few lost DVDs probably won't make a difference. If they switched to UPS which has tracking included in shipping costs, however...

    With a revenue of $2.85 billion, $29.5 million is a great deal for eBay if they did copy the idea for fixed price auctions (how is that even an auction anyway??). Whether or not eBay knew what they were doing, they banked it well.

    I am a Cingular customer, and I have never received spam via SMS. The one gripe I had at one point against Cingular is that too many users abused the free nights and weekends plan. More cellular towers have been built since then, and the problem has been solved.

    Would be nice to see perfect competition in action in today's economy, eh? Unfortunately, although perfect competition is great in theory, it rarely (if ever) exists in reality. If competition pushes the music industry to lower their prices to match pirates, then lower your prices to compete with them in Asia where this seems to be such a big problem. It's simple economics, people!
