  1. Re:I just bought one on iRiver Announces 40G Player & Previews 2004 Line · · Score: 1

My dad recently showed me an ad for an MP3 player he was interested in. I can't remember which company it was but the player had the ability to use FM radio to play the MP3s on the player through his FM receiver in his home stereo system.

He was willing to purchase it just because of this feature. I wonder if a lot of non-tech people know about this because it seems like a very practical feature that eliminates a lot of connector/compatibility issues. No need to hook up cables, just tune in to the right frequency and you can listen to your music on the home stereo.

Is this a feature that would add a lot to the price of a player? Doesn't this seem like a feature that would be nice for the masses?

I've never had a mic on my PC CS and neither do a lot of people. I find the quality lackluster compared to XBL. Voices are often muffled and people can be just as annoying as people on XBL.

When I first read your list I thought you were poking fun at them for all their inclusions in the album. I wondered why you were modded up as 'informative' instead of 'funny'. I didn't realize you liked or needed "fan club" membership or color magazines when you buy cds. When I buy a cd I want 10-12 good songs for 10-12 dollars.

Filler songs are killing music sales. For rap music it's filler and skits and introludes, interludes, and outros, etc.etc.etc. You remember those 100 disc cd changers back in the '90s? Okay, they're still around and I want one and they're so cheap I'm wondering why I don't buy one. Anyways, you buy one of those, stuff it with cds, and you'll likely get a filler song or interlude 40-50% of the time. That's why people want to choose which songs they want to download.

    Am I even on topic?

I guess I'm a film snob who doesn't want the cinematic experience ruined because it's not faithful to the book. 13. Re:Fix the bugs? on Star Wars KOTOR - PC Version, Sequel Rumors · · Score: 1

There was a huge bug that pissed me off. Perhaps some other people ran into it. After facing Malak the first time and returning to the Ebon Hawk, you have to talk to Mission. The only problem is she was invisible from a mission before and your character can't necessarily recognize her. So the game just hangs there on another member, Carth, waiting for Mission to say something. But she never does because your character can't see her! It really pissed me off.
I had to call the technical support for help! I'm not sure but I think they had some specific bugs listed in their automated system so they were definitely getting a lot of phone calls about them. The guy I talked to sounded like he had encountered thousands of the same problems for other customers. These companies should make the programmers who are the cause of the bugs answer the technical support lines because that ain't right to have that kind of bugs in a console game.
But anyways KOTOR is a great game and definitely worth purchase. Anyone else encounter the bug I did or any others that pissed them off?
And when are they gonna have downloads? Anyone have any ideas on what they would be?

Does anyone think it's strange to see Nintendo and Sega's logo pop up on the same screen of some games? Ten years ago they were pretty much the only competition for each other and now Sega's making software for Nintendo. Crazy, man, crazy.
