I agree. Although I only have the free account from Fileshack, I still get the 100 KB/sec download speeds about 99% of the time. Plus the wait in line seems to be shorter nowadays. And I never get spam either.

Perhaps you're not aware that to play the game in ultra quality mode you should really have a 512 MB video card. Go look for a video card with 512 MB of ram on it and you will see THEY DON'T EXIST YET! Isn't that what you want?

I guess it's only stupid if you haven't followed it at all. CS:Source has been public knowledge since at least E3 earlier this year. I knew exactly what the headline of this article meant. Geez, you don't have anything better to do than whine about the name CS: Source?
You're kidding yourself if you think the last two seasons have been impressive. At least seasons 9-13 had the tomacco episode, the Hell's Satans, and Apu's octuplets. Last season's lame Frank Grimes Jr. revenge episode left a bad taste in my mouth and paled in comparison to the original Frank Grimes episode, one of the best episodes ever.
I truly believe South Park is funnier than The Simpsons these days.
NFL 2K4 and ESPN NFL Football are the same game. Sega changed the 2K series starting last year to incorporate the license for ESPN more. Too bad ESPN tv doesn't promote the games better than they do the Madden series.

My biggest complaint is the romance of Kevin and Sarah on TSS. It's sickening the way they act on TV. Very unprofessional! I think Kevin gets sick of it sometimes but I wonder if the producers tell them to play it up. Sometimes it looks like he wants to throw a keyboard at her when she tries to be cute and funny.
When is Playboy gonna do a TechTV issue with Morgan, Cat, and the redhead who does Tech Live now (used to be on screen savers)?
Gollum may not have been perfect but one could guess that technology will be better when they actually start working on 'The Hobbit'. Maybe 3-4 years of perfecting and refining the process and better technology will aid the production of 'The Hobbit'.
Then why buy a PS3 at all? Seriously, if your kids still play PSone games as much as PS2 games, I would see no purpose. At least wait until the PS4 comes out to buy the PS3 so you guys can catch up on PS2 games.

All kidding aside, I think you're wrong when you say that games on pc are far superior. Sure there are some genres that work better on PC (MMORPGs and FPSs), then again there some that work better on consoles. I like playing sports games (particularly the Sega/ESPN releases) and I can't get them on PC. My only choice would be to buy EA sports titles which I don't like. Plus sports titles are better suited for console controllers.
Personally, I would rather play Counterstrike on the PC rather than Xbox (it is hard to aim after you're used to mouse/keyboard). And Halo's controls were awesome on Xbox, it just takes some getting used to. It's not like there was much choice whether to go PC or Xbox when it was released over two years ago.
I tried the Halo PC demo. Problem was I had to turn down the graphical details and it was still choppy. I've got an Athlon XP 2000+ cpu, 512 MB ram, and GeForce4 Ti 4200 128MB card. These are by no means cutting edge components but I would expect them to play a two year old game that runs just fine on an Xbox.

At the time of their release and for quite some time afterwards (about 2 years for Halo and maybe 3-4 months for KOTOR), both games were XBox exclusive. And to this day they remain exclusive to the Xbox among consoles.
BTW, is there any new content for the XBox KOTOR? It's been a while since i last checked.
For me there are no 'must buy' games. The only 'must buys' for me are food and drugs. Have a good day.
Enough of the Sean Astin praises. Sir Ian McKellan deserves an Oscar for playing Gandalf. His facial expressions are incredible and add a level of depth many actors cannot reach. Little nods and winks and smiles make his peformance in the movies so enjoyable. He should have won for FOTR and at least been nominated for ROTK.
And why aren't more people still going to see ROTK? This is it guys. Support it while you can. I had hopes that it could reach 'Titanic' levels but it won't even come close. You should check out Titanic's box office run over at boxofficemojo.com . It is amazing to see how long it sustained itself. I think it was making somewhere in the neighborhood of $25 million per weekend two months after it came out!
Now turn off your computer, blow off work or school, and go see ROTK one more time. Let's get it back to #1 at the box office.
