People do own Nexus devices (I have a Nexus One). They are easy to modify, and it isn't really anyone's fault but their own if they decide to buy one of the models that isn't (which is fine, because like the person you are being a dolt towards, some people have no interest in modifying them).
Exactly right, the only way to manage it for sure, is when it sits in your data closet. With a service, as long as they stay within the pre-set parameters (whatever uptime they stated when you bought in), you can't really complain.
Yes. It may change priority, but not speed. You can only do something so fast, if it is all you are working on already, yelling and complaining isn't going to make a bit of difference.
Apple is now working on a way to impede the consumtion of cookies for all parties involved, in hopes that a few of the people who were unaware they were being eaten will be greatful for the change.
I wish I could agree, but I actually see people talking to their computer all the time. Much like the people that tell you their "computer is sick" (assuming you are an IT person, you probably hear it a lot).
You lose a lot of frustrated hams - so not only do you effectively lose the other ham bands, you lose a bunch of trained radio operators with emergency experience (or at least emergency training)
I believe HAM operators pay for licenses as well, so they lose that source of income as well.
There are supposedly more Windows admins out there, but as it turns out, virtually all of them are incompetent dimwits who can barely find the power button.
Truer words were never spoken! I work with pretty good people at my current job, but where I used to work, the only "solution" you ever heard for Windows or Mac was "Well, we can re-install it".
Why are so many people suggesting that a sat phone is possible? Much like the lack of cell towers, there weren't satellites for that in that time period either.
Agreed. I think the more proper statement is that "tabloids" are useless crap. "Nuts and Volts", "Circuit Cellar", "Linux Journal", "Make", "2600", they all contain useful information.
It works by causing the force to be spread over a wider area. The material just has to be tough enough to not let the bullet punch through, but deform the surface instead. You still take the force of the bullet, but since the force is spread out, it doesn't have enough energy in a small enough space to make a hole through you (I am told it still hurts a heck of a lot though).
I have one of the Sony Network BD players as well. They are great little devices. As far as the LoveFilm thing, it sounds a lot like NetFlix here, which the player I have can use (one of the big reasons I bought it).
No, it is still a problem with your expectations. If it wasn't advertised with other capabilities, you shouldn't expect them. At the very least, people can't complain if it was fairly common knowledge that there are restrictions (and it is), and they just didn't look into it before hand.
I have a Dell branded space heater as well (A Vostro 3700). Cooling pads are available all over the place. Not only do they solve this issue, but they'll keep your laptop better protected from heat as well.

Hopefully a hybrid, afterall the pneumatic diversity vent has a system that ensures objects are "identified, but never judged". We're saved!
Exactly! Packs are all made to store many layers of flat material, a cylinder would actually waste space. I just don't get it.
Several of those posts specificed that they spoke for their area only. You're only offended because you want to be.

Oh boy, good of you to correct all the people that already posted youtube cuts of that exact line from CSI.

Yes, but with more media coverage. Other than being on the news, it is pretty much the same.
...it's the whole of Egypt in what has amounted to a bloodless coup...
Less bloody than some perhaps, but I would hardly call it bloodless.
Otherwise, we'll have community organizers signing up dolphins to vote in elections and lobbying for tax dollars to fund flipper-accessible housing.
It's depressing how accurate this is.
I second this motion, though it doesn't meet the age criteria. Convince him to overlook that.
If it doesn't, it should certainly be modified to.

World doesn't revolve around you chap. Tivo is now a subscription service.

You've gone too far, expect a plane ticket to England in the mail. Along with a terse letter asking you not to return.
My dad has an old Walther PPK/S, and I think it may not. That could be a problem with the gun though. I have never shot any other PPK/S to know.
