I've played many PC based FPS. I played goldeneye and hated it. The controls seemed stupid. However, Halo was the first console based FPS that had controls that worked like I thought a console controller should work. Playing Halo co-op was the most fun experience I had with a console.

Even now, I still get together regularly with a group of guys and we drink some beer and play Halo. Bringing an Xbox over to someone's house is much easier than a PC. (plus it offers one a chance to get away from the wife and kids).

I don't claim that Halo single player was all that great. But I've had more fun playing Halo with friends at 1am than I have with CS.

I think there is something more to this. I could never hold a PS1/PS2 controller for more than a few minutes without getting cramped hands. However, the Xbox large controller fits in my hand perfectly. (though racing games where lots of constant trigger use is required does cause a my finger to cramp)

But I've also heard it the other way. Is it a hand size issue?

Most organized labor union have used this failed law as a guidline to barter contracts with. In the states were the unions have more control you will see more of them enacted as state laws were others get them from union contracts. You can tell a union state by the high prices and tax rates with medium high unemployment but alot of people with job actually make more. The non unnion freindly states tend to have more people employ at lower wages, the cost of living is lower but people have to work 2 or 3 times as hard to make the same wages.

what? Seems like the law is doing pretty good. If union states pay more, why is that a bad thing? I'd rather make what I make doing the work I do (just getting by), than have to work 3x harder just to get by.

Same here. I experience this quite often on my dual AMD 1800 box at work (winxp). Often a ctrl-alt-del will show (explorer.exe) as "not responding". Frustrating.
