With this month's survey, Netcraft has begun tracking Google's custom web server software known as GFE (Google Front End), which is currently found on 2.7 million hostnames, or 2.3% of all sites. Google customizes its web infrastructure, with in-house solutions for software and hardware, including energy-efficient servers and power supplies. GFE is the server found on Blogger sites at blogspot.com, while Google uses GWS (Google Web Server) on some other services, although none with the volume of hostnames seen at Blogger.
It could indeed have something to do with hardware -- the servers used for online play. Perhaps Nintendo needs some time to test and expand them before letting other developers do whatever they like.
Recent stable versions (yesterday's nightly trunk build, for example) of Firefox have fixed the noticeable memory leaks. I haven't noticed any instability in any version however.
You really have to keep software up to date, otherwise it'll just end up unreadable like http://advsys.net/ken/klab/labflsrc.zip (yes, you'll want to check the source).
This is especially important for a crossplatform application that will have to support the newest architectures that weren't even conceived when the application ceased development.
Of course, it's a pain in the ass, so why bother;)
Check out Urotsuki Doji (translated to something containing the word Overlord), it's by the same author as La Blue Girl, and one of the few masterpieces of the 80's.
I just had the best idea ever! And this time I didn't forgot to write it down!
I call it "Soapboxcasting."
It requires a soapbox; climbing up on the soapbox somehow (I think AJAX will make that simple). Then, after exchanging headers with the recipients, you simply start talking, utilizing the already largely available atmosphere to transmit the soundwaves.
This is going to completely revolutionize the world as we know it! Just think about it, one soapboxcast at every street corner. And how simple it is, using nothing but the basic technologies, I imagine this will be very useful in China for example!
2006? I thought the name change was recent.

No, I intend to live my life without any risks until this technology becomes available -- then I intend to live for ever.
And now it's not registered any more...
xyzzyplugh99.com has now been registered...

His first language is probably English.
Incorrect, 82.7329% use fake clients.
Oh, the machines do exactly what they are supposed to do. It's whoever dictated what they were supposed to do that is at fault.
I'm assuming a cvar will be introduced with which server admins can disable this feature.

(Assuming there is some kind of master server.)

Generally the case is as stated, "We can't."
However, I have a quite extreme solution to prevent the eventual doom of mankind, technological singularity, that is, kill all scientists.
Of course, that won't happen, and I've already prepared a red carpet for our new AI overlords.

Tentacles as thick as buses help.
FFox 2.0 will support Windows 98.

I can only imagine the power it would take to run a cloak like in Start Trek or Stargate
I'd imagine it takes a bit less than a device that allows a spaceship to travel at speeds faster than light for years on end.
Why do you think things would get harder?
SQLite stores its DB in one file, the previous system stored the bookmarks in one file.
Nothing has changed (except that the history is also stored in the bookmarks file, so you won't have to bother copying is specifically).
I pray that Thunderbird decides to go this route!
Did the operation cure the epilepsy?
There's a project running on the Commons to upload good compatible pictures from Flickr.
I'd be pissed too -- if it could generate me some media attention!
You evil commie!
