the last time we cringed in terror at another country as a pretext for invasion, it turned out they were guilty of a lot less than we originally conjectured.
I thought you were about to say: the last time we cringed in terror at another country as a pretext for invasion, it turned out they were guilty of a lot less than we were.
We sacrifice inessential liberties for safety all the time. We are required to get our cars registered and inspected (in some states), our buildings inspected, and our restaurants must conform to code. All of these things restrict our freedom, but also help to keep us safe and healthy.
We need to protect the rights of the majority from; a dodgey car running them over, a dodgey building collapsing on them, some dodgey food poisoning them. Those examples don't restrict any freedoms, they are about protecting them... (@_@)

Yep, I mean I'm in Australia so we are a bit behind seeing what's going on right now in the states, but a lot of the new work I have been picking up is with bigger clients who are now scared, wanting to reduce their budget and are therefore looking at smaller, independent development.

of course, but the thought occurs to me that I might not live long enough to see that happen and my quality of life is enhanced with the presence of certain illegal... drugs, movies, books and video games. I guess I would argue that I can both break the law and change it at the same time.
sorry... I don't have the patience or the life span to deal with the system.
P.S. I don't like pot, never have. I do like LSD and DMT however.

whippets stretch all the time, it's like doggy yoga. And before a race, you have to massage their muscles to get the blood flowing. I's say the same applied to humans wouldn't hurt. not sure about holding a stretch for 30 seconds, that sounds bad.
