I've really enjoyed Mario Kart Wii, a lot and the online racing has been seamlessly good at least for myself. The Wii wheel controls really do work well for me (and boy I had my doubts). The major complaint I hear from everyone is "There aren't enough battle maps". I don't really care about that, I prefer to race anyway. My main criticism is finding your friends online is a bit of a pain, it doesn't automatically link to your Mii so well you end up writing down a randomly generated MK number for your user account and then have to email it to them and wait for them to send you theirs in return...oh well.
Night Owl was actually based on the Blue Beetle, having been denied the actual rights to the character by DC. Note the goggles in both character's costumes and the similarity to their vehicles. However I can certainly see why you'd mistake him for Batman, there are a lot of similarities.
And all 20 guys test negative "You are NOT the father!" the whole audience is fighting to not shout "SLUT!" and the mom is a ball of tears after each negative announcement realizing, "Yes indeed, I am a slut." and the children suffer.
THATS comedy, THATS SCO!
Wouldn't the US just have to look north to Canada for govt health care here? Up here it's not as great as you think and debates about a "two tiered healthcare" system have been tossed around the last few years due to long waiting lists for certain medical services.
Maybe I've missed something but is "socialized health care" any different than government health care?
Trounced for sure and two weeks later Nvidia will develop their ATI killer and we'll all toss our $500+ Radeon HD 4000's in the garbage and upgrade, only to discover ATI brings their revolutionary 4200 out a couple weeks after that which kills Nvidia but by then we all discover we have to upgrade our monitors to holographic projectors because thats the only thing that'll handle the retina burning refresh rates.
Trounced is a strong word for performance, you only trounce the competition if you can wallop them with performance AND price and I doubt this will fit most people's budget for a while and "thats all there is to it".

I disagree with that. I had to replace my 9700 for Nvidia, it kept crashing my system. I tried two different PC's and even took it back to the store and exchanged it for a new one. ATI's support wasen't very helpful, they just ask for your direct x settings and hope you'll sort it out yourself. I also had a 2 year old predecessor to the 9700 (I can't remember the model number) same problems playing games.
I'm a Canadian who tries to buy Canadian products (at the time ATI was Canadian), and both times bee disappointed that I had to replace my cards with Nvidia because their drivers were more stable.
As for the Vista stability issues, I shouldn't have to upgrade my entire OS to make my Video card stable (it's bad enough I had to replace hardware). Sure Nvidia is having Vista problems, however they will sort it out and the majority of PC users are XP anyway.
"Nvidia could have one heck of a fight on its hands."
I have to wonder how much of a fight it will be, in my experience Nvidia's drivers have always been more widely supported by the big games out there and a lot more stable than ATI.
ATI has had a bad history of buggy drivers, so it's my fervent hope that under AMD's helm this frustration becomes a thing of the past.
It's not usually a fun situation to be in. I've been through 2 corporate restructures, 1 merger and 2 company buyouts during my career. The restructures put me in a new department and very different, and in both cases less ideal, corporate culture (bad new managers etc). The merger left me unemployed as my position was made redundant, even though I helped the company through the entire transition the writing was on the wall for me from day one. I got a nice "Thank you for all the help, and though you're a great employee you're not needed anymore.". Finally the company buyouts, I left because both times my career advancement was blocked by the new management who put their people in the higher positions and pigeon holed the rest of the existing staff.
Based on my experience, I will never be one of the "conquered" or part of the "acquired assets" again. Each time I've gone through it I've left because I grew tired of being treated like a second class citizen and felt punished even though I've worked hard to earn the new regime's trust and have tried hard to prove I'm "on board" with the new company values.
"But if I were Sony, I would also send out a letter of apology to every PS3 user inbox."
That would be a kind sentiment, and when those dead PS3's come back from the shop in 2 months I'm sure those users will be glad to read that apology email.
This is the kind of crazy stuff I expected during the dot-com era of the late 1990's. Maybe they should call it Titanic Datacentres. One bad storm or nasty leak in a boat and all your infrastructure sinks.
What some people don't get is that when your shift or day or whatever is done....YOU have the power to shut a Blackberry OFF. That off button can mitigate your work/life balance.
You're thinking as a techie, these are airport security...they see wires and chips and a battery and think "Bomb". These days you can fit a bomb into an envelope, that definately looks suspect to me. She was just asking to be arrested and damn straight she's lucky she wasen't gunned down.
Remember we're living in a world where most people can't tell the difference between a PC or a Mac
This movie featured someone who was flung into space briefly without a suit and survived, however he was stuck in intensive care the remainder of the film.

Gene Rodenbury had it right huh?
I really don't want to think about Penis Creatures and the statement in the article "The numbers are just blowing us away."
He'll have too much trouble adjusting here, he'll never get used to driving his wheelchair on the right side of the road.

Your mileage may vary, thanks for reading.

Sorry couldn't resist
What you're hinting at is "how Bill made history" or infamy depending how you see it.
His big fat pay cheques and becomming one of the wealthiest men in the world? That's not a highpoint?

I predict this aquisition will go just as well for them as it did when EA bought out Origin, Bullfrog and Westwood studios!
I can't wait for this release to play it on my Phantom game system!

After reading the headline I got excited thinking Microsoft was helping to boost Watchmen popularity, damn.
I'm shocked!
