Can TIE-fighters be far off?
Those things were terrible! they took a shot and a half to kill, no shields, no warheads. Wake me up when they launch TIE AdvancedX1 or TIE Defenders. Those are cool.
I didn't know you could do that! Though I have been known to hide in the basement for weekends at a time, but that's because the trolls are after my level 5 magic sword. If it gets to be an addiction, I'll know and quit using the thing.
Their fight against piracy should begin at home. You can't sue people randomly if your own members are copying the stuff you send them. When the start sueing people, I will feel ever so slightly less annoyed with them.
well, last time it was
posted, it was part troll, part funny, with a little flamebait for good measure. At least it was ontopic.
And yes, throwing people out of your christian rock store while cussing them out for saying they are going to be l33t and share the music makes you a good seller.
And sharing that music doesn't l33tify, it causes ph34r.
After Ward's lawyer complained that Ward is a "computer neophyte" who never installed file-sharing software or downloaded any songs, the case was dropped in federal court in Boston on Friday.
Well, that is pretty stupid. THey must be mass mailing these things, knowing that everyone has mp3s. this one just happened to miss. Soon you will get mailing saying Pizza(TM) is on sale, and also you have been sued by the RIAA.
You forgot the number one rule of slashdot linking.
You don't link to geocities.
EVER
The link is dead upon posting. Always. Post a google cache if you must.
for the non metricaly inclined, the JPL server is travelling at 29.82 miles per second, or 107,000 miles per hour.
If you are thinking "what about significant figures?" then no one loves you.
resistance to slashdot nitpicking? Low. The page title is AutoSpeed - The <i> tzero </i> Electric Sport car
Whoa. Haven't seen an html tag in the title of the page in a long time... wait no, I haven't seen one. Site seems to be holding up for now.
rent me an apartment for a month, broadband, and a computer with a massive hard drive, and I will get sued for you. I have nothing to lose but your computer, your apartement, and any income I ever have, and my firstborn son, and probably the rest of any kids I have.
Arrr.
It's a text file, with worse writing then the other star wars films. This is slashdot. We're geeks. We will see it opening night dressed as Natalie Po... I mean Darth Vader. This can't be true.
You will disregard all facts from Geocities, for they are lies.
I'll see you there, opening day, 12:01 AM. Bring caffine, the form its in doesn't matter. I'll probably be there for the showing of all 6 films in order, as the marketing this would generate would be a lot bigger then most commercials.
By the way, Geocities also got a hold of a leaked, unedited lightsaber battle. One person managed to download it before the transfer peaked. They mirrored it here.
While our SCOsource initiative has already resulted in revenue of $15,530,000 during the last two quarters and we continue negotiations with other industry participants that we believe may lead to additional SCOsource license agreements, we are currently unable to predict the level or timing of future revenue from this source, if any. Allow me a guess.
Zero. Microsoft might keep you afloat for now, but you are doomed to failure.
How can they get away with this? Not even Microsoft would sink as low as to claim ownership of every unclaimed.com and.net. They have no possible claim to this. I like a nice friendly 404 when I make typos, not an ad. I would rather view every offtopic post on slashdot ever posted then this.

I know! goaste.cx could be some kind of crazy ASCII based pr0n site! That would creep people out who were trying for goatse.cx!
Well, I doubted Ford's tough-guy-with-a-tough-truck image would ever make slashdot, but it seems they have an IT department that is Like A Rock(TM) So, can I chmod people to keep them from driving my truck?
Top Spin of MM3. I used the thing once, as it was the effective weapon against shadowman. It was te most useless thing ever. You jumped into enemies, spun, and maybe killed them, draining a good third of your weapon's power. Enemies with high HP usually didn't die, so you took damage. Terrible.
Not really condeming of anyone in particluar, but I doubt the big player of the PC world will take orders from anyone. They didn't for any of their software, why would they take standards for the core OS of everything? Microsoft seems to be it's own standard, which is too bad.
So true. Yet still, the fact they intentionally sell the things at a loss shows they have no qualms about running the competition out of the market by force.
That Microsoft is losing money on every Xbox sold. Planning to make it up on game sales doesn't really work if people mod it for use as a home computer. What this will probably lead to is more expensive systems and less expensive games, which I don't really mind. If the DMCA prevents this, there is always a NES mod or two to fool around with.
Will kernel 2.6 include Zapper support?
Would KDE or Gnome have cooler support for that...
well, mozilla has a very cool extention called Flash Click To View That replaces all flash animations with a white box. If it is content you want to see, then a simple click will start loading the movie. I love it, I can watch all the flash movies I want, without the annoying, seizure causing ads.
I am the underachiver from high school who ended up richer and happier then you, you insenstive clod!

nope, two streams are in windows media format. Though I'm not sure if that's better or worse.

wwc.edu better set up a bunch of these things and stream the site to someone with more bandwith...

eh, "like a rock" is a truck slogan, as well as a linux slogan. Linux - Built Ford Tough didn't really make sense.

So you mean all this time I've been getting banned from game servers for using mods to see everyone, it was a power all humans can develop?! Unfair!

Quick! someone port GPG to analog wireless web cams!! I'll payapal you a buck. two bucks if it has a GUI!
