I know this is OT but google didn't help me on this. I recently upgraded my desktop to Ubuntu Feisty.
Now, whenever the desktop is idle for a while, it automatically logs me off. Has anyone else come across the problem??
I've asked this question before....
Does anyone know whether ACPI works in Breezy?? I installed Hoary on my Dell Inspiron 8200 and I couldn't get suspend to RAM working. I had to move back to Debian testing.

Funny thing is, I've been using Mozilla all this while and never noticed it. Yesterday I installed Firefox 0.9 and everytime I'd view a pdf file, X would suck up 90% of the CPU.
In mozilla, this may have been a problem but was definitely not as perceptible as it is in Firefox.
The pdf plugin for Firefox completely sucks up CPU cycles. Everytime I view a pdf file using Firefox, X slows down to a crawl.
Has anyone else noticed this problem??

Of course, a good, democratic government is the ideal, but if that's not an option, I'd choose the good dictatorship personally

Actually they played the Queen song "I want to break free" and the rover was like totally inspired to break free.
I apologize for any offense taken
Dude!! This is slashdot. You don't apologise here. Instead, you should flame and ask the guy to STFU.
But don't ask people who are firmly opposed to such research to help pay for it.
However it is perfectly OK to use federal money to fund a war that many americans were opposed to.
Oracle works quietly with Mozilla
