This article is about a grown woman that knows how to read.
No, this article is about a grown woman that is too lazy to read or even call tech support. She waited until 6 months later and then called the local News. Never even tried to call tech support.
Step 1: Order Laptop
Step 2: Sit around for 6 months, doing absolutely nothing
Step 3: Call local News, have them call tech support for you (like you should have done yourself 6 months ago)
Step 4: ???
Step 5: PROFIT!
but your console doesn't get hosed by a bad implementation of DRM,
Not entirely true. If Microsoft detects, over the internet, that you have a mod-chip, they ban your Xbox from XBox live... and then you can never play an Xbox game online again... EVER! Unless you hack it even more to let you play online while making the Xbox think you're playing on a LAN.
What you're looking for is an Azureus plugin called "Ono". It prioritized based on router hops. Theoretically, this would make those connected to the same ISP preffered. After that it would make ISP's with direct connections to your ISP preferred. After that, resonably close geographically, ie same country.
Mass is the most important aspect for fuel efficiency when accelerating. Aka "stop and go" traffic in the city. Get a car that weighs less. Accelerating slowly will help a little bit. Try to maintain a constant speed, slowing down and then speeding up again is just wasting your gas by having to re-accelerate all that mass
Aerodynamics is the most important aspect for fuel efficiency once acceleration has been achieved. Thus its the most important for highway travel. There's tons of theories pertaining to aerodynamics. Simplest rule is that any geometric shape will be more aerodynamic if its smaller! Get a smaller car!
Generally a motor is more efficient as it approaches its nominal output. This is slowly canceled out by wind resistance. Where the two meet is the "sweet spot" you want to aim for. Driving either slower or faster will increase fuel consumption per mile. Back during the 1970's energy crisis, some government scientists determined that the average sweet spot was at 50MPH. Modern cars have both moth more efficient motors and are generally more aerodynamic. So the sweet spot is probably a tiny bit higher than that by now.
To recap. Get a small car that weighs less. Accelerate slowly. Maintain constant speed. Going 30MPH in a 45MPH zone will not save on gas in the slightest.

Have you tried buying the upgrade Component cable to get the full 480p out of the Wii? Or are you using the composite cable that came with the Wii? That only lets you get 480i.
there's not really a whole lot of console games that will allow 4 player. Games like Mario Cart sure. But more graphics-intense games like Halo don't allow multiplayer without multiple machines and multiple copies of the game.
I understand that humans naturally stop the aging process in their late 90's and that the gene that determines when to stop aging has already been identified. Do you have any knowledge of research to alter this gene in lab animals to stop the aging process sooner?
You didn't have to get a 2 year contract with your first iPhone. You only have to get a 2 year contract when they give you a discount in exchange for signing up for a 2 year contract. They don't do that with the iPhone.
So all you have to do is buy the new iPhone and put your old sim card into it!
that would be pretty funny. We'd give 50 or 60 million OLPC's to the children of the poorer middle eastern countries. The laptops would promptly be stolen by extremists from the children. The extremists would also promptly kill the parents of the children and then recruit the children to become suicide bombers.
Then for the next 6 months the extremists would try to figure out how to use the OLPC's to post hate speech on the internet or how to turn them into missile navigation systems. In the end, they would only be able to figure out how to draw kitties in the included paint program. They're not very smart but they'll still enjoy the poorly drawn kitties.
Would this mean you would have to book flights more than 72 hours ahead of time to be able to get on the flight?
I'm a Field Service Engineer and I frequently receive notice that a plant is down and I need to be there the same day to service it. These plants can be losing upwards of a million dollars per hour because a single piece of equipment has failed. On more than one occasion, I've had to book same day flights from Atlanta, GA to as far as Portland, OR because the customer was in desperate need.
From this stand-point having to be on the passenger manifest 72 hours before the flight leaves would be detrimental to the economy.
I understand that in the 50's and 60's that Japan only produced cheap, low-quality, and non-technological goods. Then they started producing goods that were comparable in quality and in cost by purchasing liscenses to American technology (ie Color TV). Thats when they started pulling a dirty trick to take over the market. The Japanese market became very patriotic at this time and refused to buy anything not made in Japan. Japanese companies took advantage of this by using their own people to subsidize their products sold in America. Products like Color TV's that were sold for the same price in both Japan and in America were now sold for half-price in America and double the price in Japan. Selling at half-price in the USA allowed Japanese companies to take over the entire market. Soon Japan took over technologically too as they were able to produce the first affordable and reasonably sized VCR's (American VCR's were thousands of dollars and the size of a refridgerator). They were able to copy this success with hundreds of types of products including Cars. Think about this though, Japan has a significantly smaller population than the USA and they were able to pull this off. China has a population more than 3 times as large. If China is at the point Japan was in maybe the 70's, what happens to the USA when China reaches the point Japan was in in the 80's and 90's? Will the USA even matter anymore? Being patriotic and only purchasing local goods may have allowed Japanese companies to rip off Japanese consumers in the short-term but it worked out for the Japanese people in the long term. Maybe copying the Japanese form of patriotism is the only chance we have.
p.s. It was only American/Canadian innovators like those at the now defunct Commodore company that were able to keep the Japanese out of the personal computer market as long as they were by beating them to the CHEAPER punch by producing the VIC-20 with color and sound for $300, shortly followed by the Commodore 64 with more memory, better graphics, and better sound than any computer even planned at the time for only $600.
It'll make Firefox tell the website that it is IE even though its still using the IE rendering engine. That'll let you know for almost sure whether or not the site would work fine with Firefox if they would just let it.

let me correct you "Ideas don't kill people, DRM makes me kill people"
I was planning on going there in December!!! Oh the humanity! What am I going to do now? The entire trip... RUINED! I might as well kill myself now!
You're never supposed to get rid of that stuff. What do you think attics, garages and basements are for?
To Achieve rank of Ensign in StarFleet, you'd have to complete StarFleet Academy.
I'm gonna say that almost everyone that didn't complete StarFleet Academy doesn't game a character name in the credits.
There was Yeomans in the original series.

Yea but is this album RIAA free?
If this actually happens, then I should be able to buy EMI music again without moral objections.

Well, this plant runs on cellulose and not sugar. So I'm assuming its going to be using Kudzu instead of Sugar Cane.
We have moved way beyond that. You can't buy leaded gasoline anymore and that car only runs on leaded gasoline.
Although, you can buy artificial imitation lead additive.
RTFA... matter of fact RTFS. Article doesn't mention anything about freedom of speech. Its about freedom of press.
hehe, typo. It'll make Firefox tell the website that it is IE even though its still using the FireFox rendering engine.
Instead of using the IE Tab extension, try using the User agent. http://chrispederick.com/work/useragentswitcher/
