Dude. Both a breadboard with an IC, and your gp2x cound be used to detonate explosives. The gp2x has plenty of processing power to run any sort of timers or failsafes you may want to include in your device and it can be easily modified to do so. You do know it runs linux and all the files are completly open and accessable, right? Maybe the agents are smarter then you think they are. Also, if the agents were discussing this all in front of you, I would venture to guess they were watching you for your reaction to their conversation. There is no way they can really verify all the functions and modifications to your electronics, but if you start sweating bullets, or make a break for it, then they are on to something.
"Also, make all the features free. Call waiting, call answer, call forwarding, call filtering, and whatever other features you can think up. Telcos charge a lot of money for these extras. By making them free (including them in the monthly rate), you're offering customers a big incentive switch from the other guys. And since most of these features cost very little once they are initially developed, it's a wonder why you would even want to charge for them."
Sunrocket DID offer all these extras (and more) for free, that's one of the main reasons I switched to them.
The article is not about music at a bar or a concert or the gain levels thereto. It is about the dynamics of recorded music being changed from the origional musicians intent. From the article: (Peak limiting squeezes the sound range to one level, removing the peaks and troughs that would normally separate a quieter verse from a pumping chorus.) If you don't like the levels at concerts or bars, by all means, get yourself a set of high quality ear plugs. I for one enjoy the higher sound levels at concerts. It is meant to be an imersive experience. Also, by what I have read, there are many ear specialists who would say the occasional loud concert is okay for your ears. It is prolonged, repeated exposure that is the most dangerous. Like for instance, exposure I might get every day at work with a hammer drill or jack hammer without wearing my ear protection.
This is nothing new, in fact, I know of a robot in the 80's that, when dis-assembled in the back of a truck, could rebuild itself from spare parts with only it's eyelids!

Wireless microphones have been useing this spectrum for many years now. The question I have is now that they are going to be blocking certain channels. Is useing your wireless mics in this spectrum going to be consideredillegal? We have older mics that are hardwired to a channel, will these be outlawed?
Dell and Microsoft are working together to once and for all prove that the TCO of linux is more then Windows. The proof is right here. Boy, do I feel silly for building my own linux box now! I've been had!
When I switched to Linux on my desktop, I was forced to learn quite a bit more then I knew about my OS. Someone who switches to Linux because their frind told them it was better is in for a similar experience, and could end up saving his company untold fortunes by getting educated about his/her OS.
Google images even finds millions of images of fish, why woulden't at least all of these come up for that word? "fishing" also returns many millions of results.
I have Sunrocket. I pay $17/mo for unlimited with all the features. To get a comprable service with the phone company, it would be over $100/mo. So, yeah not bad for a day or two a mo of downtime.. however. Most the time the line is down, you can revive it by cycling your cable modem, your voip adapter, or your router. The last time sunrocket was down for about 8 hours, everyone received an email apologizing and 10 reward points (which are worth about $10, over half a month's service) When is the last time you received an apologie and a refund from your phone company?
the company's site mentions fcc compliance, including this in the faq.
. What government approval is required to operate xMax?
xMax complies with all regulatory thresholds set by the Federal Communications Commission (FCC), that prevent one system from interfering with another's operation.
See the report from Blooston Mordkofsky verifying xMax is compliant with existing FCC rules.
ahh but what about the people who can't afford the 25c newspaper... or this fancy "radio" you speak of? drive through the ghetto and count the number of satellite dishes you see... I can't (won't) afford those! Bottom line is. In a prosperous country like this, people can find the money to pay for what they really want/need.

I immediatly throw in the knoppix cd and start a NEW freecell game! Seriously though, my first thoughts are useing a knoppix cd to see if I can see what went wrong and if I can salvage anything.
This footage was in the PBS special the triumph of the nerds. I think I recall the guy remarking about steve beaming like a proud new father at his baby.
My buddy had one of those, we would patiently wire up circuit after circuit, only to be dissapointed that the "lie detector" did not beep when he asked me my name and I replyed rumplestiltskin. I had one of those build your own short wave radio sets. Never did get the am receiver to work, but I did pull in a couple short wave stations. I strung wire out my bedroom window as an antenna and heard someone talking fastly in some unfamiliar language. We did end up blowing up some of these kits by trying to up the power with more, bigger batteries or once plugging into a mosel train power supply. Yikes!
oh, come on man! If your not hanging out at the local Dumpster in a clearing, you just ain't living. Everyone who is anyone is there. It's also a great place to get a poor digital cell phone sigal!
When my computer crashed, safe mode did not work. System recovery disks didn't seem to provide any answers, the only thing I could do was turn off the level 2 cache and over the course of what took hours, boot up and un-install sp2. I guess I need some bios update. would have been nice if windows warned me. If I was an average user, I would have had to bring my pc back to best-buy.
I normally use opera or firefox on my linux box. From time to time I use IE on my wifes computer to view ie only sites.. In opera you can just type "google" in and opera will fill in.com and take you there. if you just type "google" on IE, it searches msn for the word google. Happens to me every time. Dang memory... what were we talking about again?
Or imagine a school or a church distributing routers among parents or parishioners as a fund-raiser. Let's see how long SBC or Verizon lasts against the Baptists. Now THAT's disruptive.
This guy dosen't know his baptists! Baptists are resistant to change. If this technology takes off huge, the baptists will be the LAST to adopt this heathen technology of the devil...
I have this Lite-On inferrred keyboard I have had for like 8 years. it has a joystick mouse integratted in it that works ok. I have an inferred network in my house so I use it for controlling xmms and Kaffeine (video) from the living room. This is the most trusty piece of computer I have owned. Like I said I bought it like 8 years ago and I have used it with several computer systems I have set up. I guess they don't probably sell them any more, but if you ever see one at a garage sale I highly recommend it.

Easy. I've already looked into it for myself.
I'm guessing that something real happened today. Posting a joke may be entertaining but I need my tech fix!

I'm not familiar with the 1860. Could someone please post an overview and history of this?
