First off this is NOT a defense of the pope, Nazis or Catholics.

But from what I've seen in documentaries, not joining Hitler's Youth Party in those days was the equivalent of joining say the communist party instead of the boy scouts in the 50'es.

And Hitler wasn't particularly fond of the classic religions, he was more into the occult, so the Catholic Church had to either do as he wished or find somewhere else preach and leave their earthly possessions behind.

  11. Warning - believe system specs. on Review: Mass Effect 2 · · Score: 1

I can report that the dual core minimum spec is for real.

The game can't be played on a single core machine, tried with my old FX-57 @ 3 GHz - it was a no go.
It couldn't even play the first video after creating a new game. Found a fix, which just replaces the video files with empty ones, but I still only get 1 - 2 fps ingame.

To me it seems a bit odd that just adding another core would give me playable frame rates, but I can't test since I don't have a FX-60.

I think one of the reasons are, that the voters vote for whatever party they normally vote for, regardless of the parties individual EU politics.

The 7 of June we'll to vote for our EU representatives here in Denmark. There only 2 small parties who actively oppose EU, one wants us to quit entirely or at the least keep our opt-out referendum the other want a slimmer EU where all decisions are still made at a national level.

I doubt they'll get more that 2 mandates.

It depends on the distance between the plant and the users. Here in Denmark district heating is used a lot.

The issue with steampowered turbines is that the steam that comes out of the turbine is not very hot (under 45C). That makes it very hard to use the heat/energy that is bound in the steam.

Something like this is already happening in Denmark. From January 1 a levy has been put on all flashcards and usbsticks sold. And were already being charged for normal blank media.

Originally we had the right to copy cds and movies from the library and borrowed media, but then Copy-Dan (organisation enforcing artists "rights" in Denmark) convinced the government that they lost income and got the levy on blank media. A couple of years later they (Copy-Dan) somehow got the law changed so now we pay for the copying but are not allowed to do it.

This has only led to higher prices for law abiding citizens and anyone else buys their blank media in Germany.
