    is obviously saying it for someother reason. They might have problems already, I mean it is not like it is going to not be sparked from somewhere else!! There was violence before video games! Or they are saying this because they want to take the attention off the murders they commited, which they seem to have done.

    maybe the congress should fine Darpa for funding the creation of TCP/IP too.
    These kind of laws are showing how the government has always treated citizens, with mistrust. They are doing more for copyright protection then they are for things like healthcare, it really shows their prorities.

    I am not one to say that we should get in the way of progress. But Diebold should be trying to fix it, recall their product, and fix all security holes. Obviously it is hard to fix them all, but we need to try and advance rather then say that we need to go back to the drawing board. It is wrong to try and change the attitude through press, but it doesn't mean we should give up. There are security holes in old systems, like using dead on the voting roles.
    This is not to say I think we should just forget security. I do not know how big these holes are. If they are large. We should try and fix them with outh cover up. Over all though, I think electronic voting is a good thing.

    I am surpirsed that the Music forces hasn't joined forces with the MPAA and software companies like Microsoft in a sort of "axis of evil" to sue together. They could send out their joint forces of gestapos to destroy computers of file sharers like Orrin Hatch wants. I hope that nevers happens (obviously I got a little carried away).

    This may not be the most perfect example, but like media releasing classified documents. Once this is done, it is public. Either this is a horrible example or freedom of speach is being trampled on (or both). This is more likely to damage the press then anyone else.
