Not to mention most IPs in America are dynamic. What if someone was sharing music, and then your IP switched to theirs? How can the RIAA base evidence off a form of "identification" that actually changes?
Well, uh, see there's this thing about the city already being there when we got it in the early 1800s. Something about it being the most important port in the west. Something about it being over 200 years old!
I did that very thing. And you know what? I agree. These students were, franky, idiots. On the other hand, that password should have been changed at the first sign of a problem. In addition, only one password protecting all the admin priviledges is equally idiotic as those that exploited it. At our school, what we do is install a Deep Freeze, ( http://www.faronics.com/index.asp ), which restores the hard drive to a set image at every reboot. Only four people have access priviledges high enough to edit that, and none of them are students.
Try a google for Kepler Syndrome. You'll find sites that explain it better than I can, but basically, debris hits something, and it creates more debris. These go on to create more collisions and more debris, eventually closing off an entire orbit plane.
Crap, shouldn't have hit post so fast...
In addition, most of the wireless shown on that map is concentrated on the north side, close to the lake. The further west and south of the loop you go, the less wireless you see.
Because the major provider of wireless and DSL is SBC, who are a monstrous corporation with a virtual monopoly on the market. Thus, prices keep going up and up, for apparently no reason.
Which telescope is better and already in operation? As for the planned one, are you referring to the James Webb telescope? Are you aware that sees totally different wavelengths than Hubble?
Hey, Illinois is considered by some to be the center of the midwest, yet most, if not all our officials elected this year were democratic. We also gave our Electoral Votes to Kerry by a somewhat large margin. Try to skip the sweeping genralization next time, ok?
Of course, living in Chicago makes it a bit different, by still...
I'm probably just temporarily depressed before I go back to fighting his policies however I can, but I can't even fathom how stupid American voters are, and I'm only 16.... Maybe I'm just disillusioned.
And the even better thing is that they are expected to survive the Martian winter, which was supposed to be the death knell for those bots. I for one, welcome our new celestial body exploring robotic overlords!
Except, even though I am a Roman Catholic, I couldn't care less how other people are. It's their life, they can do as they wish. I try to avoid sweeping generalizations.
Well, at least you didn't get modded down. That says that some people actually do care about the opposition side. I've talked to many people about various documentaries, or stories in the newspaper, and they just say they don't want to hear it. Why are they so closed minded?
What puts people to sleep more than drab, 60s-70s era office buildings? The point, my friend, is to not be seen.

I click on "read more" and what do I see? "Nothing to see here, move along." Nice.
You'll notice that all your quotes are dated earlier than the parent's.
So I assume that taking away their laptops would be too easy a sentence?

Maybe it will be better than a near monopoly by SBC, hmm?

The parent is correct. Please mod up so that we do not have many people debating "craters" when they are really enhancement artifacts.
So sign em up for a few porno newsletters. I'm sure they'd love that. ;)
Oh, I have a pretty good idea. We're blindly driving ourselves down a cliff. But there are a few bright spots, especially near Illinois.
Oh, cheer up, Marvin!
Man, where are those mod points when I need em eh? +1 Funny
Oh wait, that's the Cubs, we've got four more years....
Crap.

Except for the fact that PC Gamer has reviewed a final build of it.
Actually, with regard to point #2, the earth and moon are a double planet system, because the moon orbits the sun, not the earth, as evidenced by the fact that it always falls towards the sun. More here: http://www.copernicus.org/EGS/egsga/nice00/program me/abstracts/aac6816.pdf
