I seem to recall these being available for Amiga back in the day, though I can't remember if they attached to the parallel port or the Amiga's own RF modulator.
Copyright is not perpetual anywhere, and this is laid down in the US in the constitution IIRC.
In theory they last until 30/50/90 years after the author's death, although with extensions pushed through every time Steamboat Willie or That's All Right looks in danger of entering the public domain, the current limit is effectively forever -1day
Why does this exact post get put up every time anything involving a torrent is mentioned? If the poser wasn't AC I'd presume t'was karma whoring, is it in fact some kind of subtle troll joke? Shouldn't stuff like this be blocked along with "frist p0st"
...states that unless you actively use and protect a trademarked term against ALL infringements, you lose the right trademark. I'm sure if anyone with a half-decent legal team would win if leant on by Lucas for something like "android", though maybe not "'droid"...which is most likely why he doesn't threaten anyone with a half-decent legal team.
Apart from anything, "android" massively pre-dates Star Wars and Lucas himself, unless he finished the first draft sometime during the mid-19th century! http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Android/
I personally use my.tk address, and have also used hotpop.com and others. You just need to go to passport.com and attach your address to a passport. Using GAIM or the like you could even be logged onto both accounts at the same time to give everyone your new address.
LavaRND uses a lens-capped webcam on high-gain to generate provably random numbers,/dev/random is only pseudo-random, and not suitable for mission-critical randomness, IE: One-time pads for important data.
LavaRND is bullet-proof, weapons grade true random, for all the cost of a £20 web-cam.
They use these rather than SI units(if there are such things for data) to give an idea of scale.
I think most people reading that sentence will get the impression of it being "a bloody lot". It's more data than we can usefully express in our units. Like measuring the width of the galaxy in metres(the SI unit of distance)
I meant the font in the logo.
I'd accept if this was moderated Troll or Offtopic, but I object to it being called Flamebait.
Both this story and the last were dupes of dupes of...

I now understand the trolls, Slashdot is indeed shit and useless as a news source.
I think I'l go read some real news. Like Wikinews. Or The Sun.
I do, however, really like the
OGG is lossy, FLAC is lossless.

Adblock can block images, flash objects, or just anything from a particular server(eg: ads.osdn.com).
Not just that, but also the spaces they occupied, so you don't get big annoying blanks where the big annoying adverts are traditionally.
Is compatible with Firefox 1.0 on Windows and Linux.

Glad to be of service, ma'm.
Does the image look familiar to you? Do you use a dial-up accelerator? It could a corruption in your or its cache.

Can you show me one site that says anyone survived the Hindenburg? IMO that's just a whole load of too much fire + big fall to be survivable.

I don't care if its legal, working, or likely to microwave my dog, where can I get one of these Commodore MP3 players?
I always get my *nix CDs from ebay, it's much cheaper than the official sets, and there are loads of people who burn in bulk and sell cheap.
