The AvGas in the jet A trick isn't as dangersous as the Jet A in the AvGas.
Most jets have provisions in their manuals to run on gas in an emergency.
Unfortunately piston engine planes when fueled with Jet usually run just long enough to get you killed.
"To fly it, you'd need a Letter of Authorization because there's no FAA type certification for this aircraft - and unless you're an ex-military pilot, you've basically got no chance of getting an LOA."
While this is a authoritative post it is just incorrect.
LOA's are being done away with in favor of type certs for experimental jets.
Second, plenty of rich non-military pilots are signed off to fly all sorts of exotic jets from Mig-21s to Saab Drakkens.
I agree.
I can't see running Linux in place of OS X, however if you have that old 9600, or beige G3 gathering dust, Linux might be a good option.
There are also some really outstanding deals on the beige G3 boxes now that the latest version of OS X shuns them.
They need to charge $24.00 for the "Beatles White Album".
Because..........
There are the promotional expenses.... oh wait?
CDs cost alot to manufacture.... um no that's not it.
They need to recoup the investment in recording expenses..... uh no?
Oh yea.
They have hordes of greedy middle men depending on the corpse of the Beatles to make their Porsche payments, yeah that's it.
I am not going to debate the truth of this article.
However we hear the same thing over and over.
So I cannot begin to hold MS completely blameless.
What I cannot understand is at this point, with their huge advantage just in cash reserves, why they cannot just do the work and make the best products.
The potential they have to really do something awesome when put in contrast to their actual tactics it's just sad.
Realistically, how much storage space are we talking about for fingerprints for all know copyrighted works and how much processing power to check against them for every file you up and or download?
Actually you can copy/backup the files as many times as you want on as many machines, drives, or discs as you like just like any other file.
You just can only play them on three machines at once.
It is a double edged sword and we need to be careful
If it becomes difficult to fire an employee the employer becomes much less likely to give someone questionable a chance. Soon anybody with any sort of black mark on their record becomes unemployable.
I just don't get it.
Can't they work in a positive manner?
Ask the guy to link to thier site for the movie.
Give him a small clip or something to post.
Free publicity.
It is a no brainer for them to just charge for everythig up front. You can call it a deposit or pre-paid processing or whatever.
That way when some geek wants to hack the camera, they laugh all the way to the bank.

Brave, kinda wacky girl who rides a motorcycle. Reminds me of a girlfriend I used to have. Too Cool.
It's called a PowerBook Duo. They made it years ago, didn't you buy one?

Actually, the design feature of the gas tank mounted under the trunk was quite common for cars of the '60s and early '70s.
Windows (not the Microsoft kind) kill huge numbers of birds each day.

Agreed, Depp's added quirk made it one of the years best. The movie wouldn't have been the same with anyone else in the roll.
