There was a childs toy called a Cybiko which was a hand-held computer introduced back in April 2000, that implemented its own radio network.
We could easily create a vastly improved device that instead integrated with the internet and that could operate independently of current ISP's if for some reason normal connections were down.
Cell phones are almost there lacking only the ability to operate independently of the carrier.
See, http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cybiko
How do you do data entry, even touch screen, if you need both hands to hold it? If I want to put a computer on my lap, I'll buy a laptop. If I want a PDA, I'll use a PDA. A 2-handed PDA sucks.
Does not seem to be made for data entry. I otherwise don't see holding it with one hand as a problem. I mean, just to test it out I picked up my 13" laptop and closed its easily holdable with one hand. Input with one hand should be easy.
Whats bad is how ugly the samples they show are.
Running the VM version under Vista, seems stable so far. There were no problems, installed both VM and Haiku in less than 10 minutes. Connects to the internet easily. Decided to use the VM version as my system has a wireless connection. Bezilla looks to be a version of Firefox 2.x.
I want Universal Health Care for everyone; the only horror is that anyone in the US is unable to get health care. Personally I am retired and covered by a better than average health plan.
Also I do not see Canada and Europe as having any association between horror and their health plans, rather their health plans are objects of envy and desire by the vast majority of US citizens.
The books I would like to see made into a movie are the lensman series, now I don't think E.E. Smith was a particularly good writer, and the series is definitely as chauvinistic in every way as the period was, but for sheer scope and grandeur they are hard to top. With a good script writer they would make an awesome translation to screen.
While not a great writer there was noting wrong with Smiths ideas, certainly the lensman series is better plotted, with better ideas, than the Star Wars series.
I can't see this as being anything more than a very minor problem for Blizzard. But their actions seem to be begging someone to create a major problem for them; like creating an open source version of their game that runs over a p2p network, that anyone can modify in whatever way they would like to.
If I can't email them back about the problem, I create a filter to delete all further emails from that specific address.

I second Terry Pratchett, and add Andre Norton, Madeleine L'Engle, and Lloyd Biggle, Jr.
All types of playing cards, a standard deck, and also decks like Uno.
Could we use this to complain about advertising that is in any way inaccurate?
When I connect to my home WIFI with my EVO throughput is close to 10 Mbps.
The AAVSO ( http://www.aavso.org/ ) should have plenty of real science they could do with a 4" telescope.
Casette Tapes are coming back!
If Only I still had a Deck!
I still have one. Somewhere.

Does this imply as well the possibility of a localized "artificial gravity"?
I think its time to do away with copyright completely, given the level it is abused.
And if it has DRM I am not buying it.
How does cost/gig compare with other servers?
Well duh.
Gordon Dickson, Andre Norton, Fred Saberhagen, Fritz Leiber, Keith Laumer, Philip Jose Farmer, Katherine Maclean, Stanley G Weinbaum .
Is SG:U available anywhere in 1080p? I've seen it in 720p, but I want all the eye candy.
I'd rather have a powered trike that would do 40 mph for as long as I could pedal.
I don't mind not running Windows.

I think I'll complain about the bible; the level of sex and violence in that book is beyond the pale.

As a non Alaskan, I care about Stevens loss only in that it means there is one less republican in office. That makes it good.
If they would just price their product at a relatively reasonable rate; I would be willing to pay as much as $0.01 per 100 terabytes.
