    first of all that article talks about a specific implementation of LHA (LHA is an old compression alg that i don't think anyone uses anymore), and imlib and as the article says its ALREADY FIXED, just upgrade imlib and unlha

    and neither of these are linux, linux is the kernel.

    actually i used to get picked first, (frist pcik!!!) i had pretty decent aim and could wallop the "pitcher" in the head fairly often (needless to say we didn't play much after that)

    IIRC there are Matrox cards that can do quadhead on their own, allowing you do to 16 screens (i'd just hate to hear the speakers when they all decide to play different games)

    what i want to do is take that little guy replace all the IR hardware with RF, if its built well enough get rid of the damn remote and do it all with a strong RF signal and a laptop, hell, if you can get a PDA in there (which wouldn't be hard) get a wifi card on him and a low res camera that you can attach to the PDA make him follow a pink ball and pick it up when it stops

    i've generally found that helium isn't light enough for doing this, most rafts can't hold enough, blow more than a few up myself trying though. oh and don't try to fill a basket ball up with helium unless your wearing gloves those things HURT when they exploded. (this was after my moms birthday when me my dad and brother were trying to come up with something to do with the rented helium since we had to use it up). we were able to get about 30psi into the basket ball before it exploded.

    Simple you use the tivo and a bathtub to induce flashbacks, just record 300 hours of the history channel and boom you've got all of US history, and then some, in a flashback so you can absorb it all

    that wouldn't work, when you mix light like that the frequencies don't really shift, when they hit the prism they'd all seperate into their original frequencies dispite(sp?) what you see, your eyes trick you because those colors would be what would bounce off an object of that color
