  4. Oh goody, mabye we'll get buried again :P on Mount Saint Helens Behaving Oddly · · Score: 1

I was in the 5th grade when the big one hit the Mountain and had a paper route at the time. Before I was allowed outside to deliver my papers I had to pretty much adorn hazmat gear. My mom had me wear a mask, goggles, overcoat, big hat, etc. After a few days of cooking alive in that gettup while riding my bike on what was worse than dry soft sand My parents asked me if I wanted to quit that paper route, and the answer was an enthusiastic YES!

The ash was kinda fun to watch fall, but it was a four star pain in the butt since it clogs up everything, drains, gutters, lungs, etc.

Ignorance is when you willfully IGNORE facts in front of you. Red China likes to hide facts, limit access and censor speech.

Chances are the people who have the knowledge you want lack the access or the freedom to tell you.

And if you think it is sad that the rest of the world lacks knowledge about China it is because they are closed society by their own design.

True they are now owned by their own creation, but tough titties, thats what you get for going commie.

Just by the nature of the science they choose. For example a person whos degree is in environmental studies, is by nature almost always liberal, and a person whos degree is in Geological oil exploration is almost always conservative.

As a result, a screaming majority of them will ALWAYS agree. regardless of the truth on any "partisan" issues.

So no matter how unpopular their opinions might be that doesn't necessarily make them 'Fringe' or radical

Any conservative viewpoint on environmental issues, and any liberal viewpoint on geological issues are going to be in the minority.

But guess what folks, Sometimes they are right. Yea, sometimes they are whackos, but sometimes they are right.
