Didn't some Wall Street "researchers" throw darts at a newspaper to pick stocks once and do well? Methinks they've learned too much from that... "Cool, a dart hit SCOX, and another hit the number 14. Now, going by this table of randomness... let's increase their chare price by a factor of 14!
Not if I can help it... Mine will be out within a year. First/third person, D&D rules, optiona for turn-based/realtime. THis is real, we just finished the crappy version of the introductory video... With any luck, this will be popular enough for me to afford a new computer. (WE would GPL it, but had to purchase a graphics engine, and got caught in a gay contract)
The real question we all want answered is: Is it a +5 Vorpal Satellite Bane Candlestick , or is it a a +3 Throwing Returning Shocking Candlestick (to save on launch and recovery costs).
Might it be a good idea to just sorta launch it towards a planet that we want better pictures of? it can't cost that much to strap an ion engine to it... That would get us some really great photos of stuff we just can't see that well from here, like Pluto
Now, where do they sell rails again? And what town do I have to run them out of the for them to go away?
Sounds like too much work, can't I just get a repellent spray or something? You know, like *AA 'B Gone?
Now for a touch of being serious:
The 'law' that makes that illegal is the one that lets you bury someone in legal fees until they give up
With any luck, this will allow them to save large amounts of money, possibly fueling a tech boom. Well, probably not that much, but it will definitely benefit them. Other nations will notice this, and with any luck push similar initiatives. THis is our lucky bereak!
I'm pretty sure that I've heard of a few virii or worms going around that, among other things, blocked google. What an amazing coincidence...
Anyways, here goes M$ with more anticompetitive behavior, maybe if we all get really pissed and make a big deal of it they'll get fined $500k. Nothing we can do about it. Oh well, shit happens, at least they're losing customers to apache. That's a start, all we need is to get linux more popular as an os for all those aol users out there
THis is only a problem for people who don't think to click the Next button... oh wait, that's 90% of everyone who uses the internet.
In other words, even though they acknowledge the exisence of these sites, they hide them, and that's bad. We wouldn't be affected by this, just pissed, but most people will only see that page. This Is Bad.
Anyone try that with "DRM bad"? I think that that's something else to look out for...

Yes, but some of us are too lazy and would much rather click on a pretty clicky link than follow 7 steps. 7!!! And I could do it in 1 thanks to him!
The horror, the horror! 7 steps instead of 1! Oh god, the horror!
In my opinion, public faith may very well be better than a system that we think works. There are flaws in every system, some of them inserted deliberately. With flaws as egregious as Diebold's, we (or anyone) can probably use the flaws to fix the massive errors and possible cheating.
OK, I know, this sounds idealistic, but someone will always try to rig e-voting, might as well make it easy to be fixed/counter-rigged.
This is a good idea. Let's use it in the united states! Wait a minute... You say that any script kiddie can break into the databases they're using? No problem, it's safe, it's based off the secure Windows Server 2003...
Wow, r00lz0rh4xxxx0r was just elected president with eleventy million votes! Wait a minute, the state of "133tness" just submitted it's votes, that's infinity billion votes for someone trying to be funny. Goddamn script kiddies!
So, this is a really good idea, and we should implement it... CmdrTaco for President!
You asked how they would move. It's really easy, actually. At that size, air can be treated as a surprisingly viscous fluid. Makes movement easy as hell. I don't understand it, but that'sd whaty I've read
Yes, but it's too late to outlaw handguns; criminals will still get their hands on them somehow.
Let's say that handguns are outlawed here. Criminals get them from Mexico, but citizens can only have rifles. Let's face it, hunting rifles are useless for self-defense. Impossible to hide, hard to get the draw on someone, take too long to reload, Grandma can't necessarily lift them... Citizens suffer, criminals rejoice
One well-placed bullet will take down pretty much every aircraft ever made, with the slight exception of helicopter gunships. In Vietnam, they shot down our advanced jet fighters with ak-47s. However, tanks are a different story.
That reminds me of a recent article in Popular Mechanics- California rebels, doesn't have much of a chance. It's set in the near future, but... anyone know if they would have a chance?

How do we know he hasn't murdered anybody?
We really should try digging up dirt on him, this whole thing seems to rely on him being believed by investors...
ACtually, it would be a good idea for a pilot's fighter to generate 3d "sounds" to represent where stuff was.
Assuming that the camera was in the cockpit of an X-wing or something, that's what the pilot would experience: crappy sounds in space...
Looks like we might have to change a little bit of stuff, then. Thanks for the tip...
By the way, we were originally going to call it DragonLance 3d... We dropped that for the same reason
I have 17i of those in MY garage... How about you? They're getting really annoying, though, they're burning pretty much everything I store there

I thought it answered your sig. Oh well, I guess I have to say everything clearly. I ate part of your breakfast pants and lost the rest.
Sheesh, isn't that simple?

Wow, room temperature must be really, really low over there...Glad I live in Illinois!

Don't worry, I'm sure that our friends at Diebold will take care of that contingency for us.
After all, they're a corporation, and we all know that they're here to help us, right?
Here's 3 of them:
3. Flaming tennis
2. The involuntary luge
1. Motorcycle jousting

Really? What's the first, then? Also, where did you here that? From a reputable source?
As an alternative to be slowly boiled alive in acidic pirannha? Wait a minute, tough decision there...
In case there are people that like to be warned, goatse troll...
