I've been reading the fiction book "Next" by the late Michael Crichton (RIP). His spin was that greedy doctors and mortuary employees are taking over the human genome by trickery and theft to own and then resell you your own body back to you.
Now, i don't wear a tin foil hat but this discussion sounds like this crazy book i got for Xmas.
Insurance IMHO is like gambling, you and them bet you might or might not get sick and one you pays for the mistake. National healthcare is a good thing for a lot of people right now considering our situation.
I have just finished installing SP1 on my standalone machine and have been dreading every darn thing i have heard about it off of/. Blue and purple screens of death and the whole nine yards.
It pisses me off that there are people who for some reason forget to RTFM! I bet most of the folks who got SP1 that failed did not RTFM and downloaded the version that MS or M$ if you want, warned you that it would give you the problems that you, who did not RTFM probably got because you think you know more so you don't RTFM!
On me, I have ZERO problems at all and i will be waiting because you who have been slamming SP1 had me scared and now i'm simply not anymore... Only hesitant.
I think it's too soon to worry about a rust that only eats wheat.
If you look here: www.hort.purdue.edu/newcrop/afcm/triticale.html
You will see that there is a Wheat form that people have been using for a long time and with no problems. They might be complaining that beer production might go down!
Question.
The pills did not come from the U.S., but they came from us?
I better check my blood pressure medicine for paint or something else.

Hello all,
Currently I'm doing the Chef part of my life at this time.
What is being described here is very old stuff http://www.foodarts.com/ and all this stuff is just commonplace technique nowadays.
Adria, Achatz, Andres I have met or worked with.
It's really not that amazing when you think that we as culinarians are (actually they are), just being creative instead of the things that a lot of people have been eating all along but in a different form.
For instance: Grant Achatz (whom i think is Awesome) guinness that's thickened with Gelatin is just "Jello" "tm" but flavored with beer.
Ferran Adria is the guy you seek if you want to know/learn stuff He invented this whole thing in first place about 10 or 12 years ago and it took the world by storm. He makes drops of olive encase in suger bags.
Hell, there is a gut in chicago that invented a computer printer that makes edible and taste-infused menu's that you eat to before you order your food:
http://en.wikinews.org/wiki/Chicago_chef_invents_edible_menu.
Anyway, my whole point is: We as chefs, are very creative, funny and dedicated to bring the food world into the computer world accepept as munchies on a late night!
I was amused about this "Pay what you want" Vs. Bittorrent and hear is what i found:
http://blogs.pcworld.com/staffblog/archives/005708.html
Anybody download it?
And what did it sound like?
My guess is if it sucks in sound quality would have people talking to other people and on and on. Word of mouth might have something to do with it.
What do you think?
But Morse should stay the way it is. It is a backbone for all sorts of emergencies.
Morse code and the wonderful folks that use it have helped countless folks over the last century.
Sticking the capability in a cell phone is simply ridiculous.
thanks but it is too late and i was not that interested anyway.
Hey! Is there any way to see the throwdown without joining a dying game? any help would be appreciated.
I realize that what people think about TPB but i feel it's a bad thing to do. But saying that, M$ is probably happy since TPB got WIN 7 out first.

Hey,
Why don't we all just give them blood samples and fingerprints too? It will make it easier for all us sheep follow the herd!
Look, i use Google and i like a lot of their stuff but enough is enough.
Thanks a bunch. FYI /. users, i took the first one the other 4 are free!
Do you have any invites to demonoid? I would appreciate one if you do.
Any tiny thing with a tiny coil around it and hook it to a battery will result in flight if you let it!
I agree,
I have the 1 user version as an example for my guys and it seems to be a good thing.
I think i will give them allowance to play with it at will as long as they give me feedback.
I also feel that anyone who got the earlier version of SP1 got what they got!
and nothing else.
No disrespect.

Hmmm, And "SKYNET" became self-aware when?
Did'nt we have this on here about a year ago? I think it was DC or something. Stop being paranoid. Karl Rove quit or did'nt you hear about it.
I love the Mouse! :-) I think i would be lost without it.

Foamcrete in a guy's car worked for me.
I have never really liked having my picture taken. Even now sometimes i don't like folks just snapping away in my direction.
If the technology works, then good for them. My privacy is more important to me than your's or your fun.
