    I had a job once where they gave me a desk and a chair with a pair of handcuffs locked to it. Apparently, they had to literally chain the last guy to the chair to get any work out of him but they had long since lost the key.

    I had nothing to do for a day or two so, using a paperclip, I was able to master the technique of unlocking it.

    Now if I ever get arrested and handcuffed (and happen to have a paperclip in my hand) I'll be ready.

    Same here. I wouldn't use it even if they came out with a Linux version. As a matter of fact, I wouldn't use it if it were free or even paid me for every song I downloaded.

    The after version does have a much fuller and richer sound but I still heard a lot of background static. Can't this be filtered out?

    Hmmm, Mandrake has had MandrakeUpdate for every release that I know of and then there's the command line thing called urmpi or something like that.

    Just go to the Mandrake website http://www.mandrakelinux.com/ and click on download. It looks like anyone can go right to one of the download mirrors. However, as of right now, the only mirrors are European servers.
