You can get kits for $100 or less, focus on the programming issues of controlling mechatronics, and reading sensors. Contests happen all over the place, and the robot is a decent starter platform for other contests, like line following.
You've got pine trees with nearly 15 inch needles there? Holy cow! Maybe they're closer to 1/4 wavelength, but I'm betting the density of moist organic matter has more to do with it than the length of the needles.
God made man. Sam Colt made them equal. What martial arts do you know of where people do not compete in weight classes and gender categories?
Unfortunately the 20 year adult old victim in this case would be legal prohibited from exercising her right to self defense with a firearm in most states.
So in other words, if this part goes, and the rest stays, what are we left with? A bunch of smaller corporate hand-outs that don't fix much of anything in a horrendously broken system. Most people will still have the shitty insurance they already have, and they will see their costs continue to rise the same way that they would have if nothing at all had happened..
Actually no, the administration has already said this part of the law would sever a large part of the rest. Preexisting condition coverage for instance. If people aren't required to have insurance, companies can't be expected to cover those with preexisting conditions, because then no one would need to actually buy insurance until it was needed.
No reason. I have a RepRap style extruder head for my 3'x4' CNC router, a head that holds a Sharpie marker on the same co-axis as my router, a dremel for small work, and a 2.5HP Porter Cable router motor for bigger work.
I haven't done it yet, but have some parts that I will probably extrude, then switch to the dremel to drill some holes out to the proper size, and maybe to mill a few surfaces smooth (printed parts have a stringy/webbed texture).
The feature you are referring to is "slide-lock". Most modern semi-automatic pistols have it with the exception of some smaller "pocket" pistols. Some guns will release the slide and put a new round into battery automatically when the next magazine is inserted, and some require the slide release to be flipped to release it.
42 U.S.C. 1983, commonly referred to as "section 1983" provides:
Every person who under color of any statute, ordinance, regulation, custom, or usage, of any State or Territory or the District of Columbia, subjects, or causes to be subjected, any citizen of the United States or other person within the jurisdiction thereof to the deprivation of any rights, privileges, or immunities secured by the Constitution and laws, shall be liable to the party injured in an action at law, Suit in equity, or other proper proceeding for redress, except that in any action brought against a judicial officer for an act or omission taken in such officer's judicial capacity, injunctive relief shall not be granted unless a declaratory decree was violated or declaratory relief was unavailable. For the purposes of this section, any Act of Congress applicable exclusively to the District of Columbia shall be considered to be a statute of the District of Columbia.
This may be the purpose of manual testing, but the idea of having high code coverage with automated testing it to prevent regressions, minimize time to release, and even act as documentation via example usage.
It's less about release N, and more about release N+1.
You're obligated to comply with a lawful order from a police officer. Failing to do so is unlawful. So if the cop says,"tell them to leave [because you've created a dangerous situation by being here]" you'd better comply, or you'll get sent down. Just because they told him to do it with twitter makes no difference.
Wow, what country do you live in? Mine has a constitution with due process protection, freedom of speech, and other useful constraints on government to prevent them from just ordering me to do things like that.
My father and I were just commenting over the Thanksgiving holiday that there are more acorns around his house and mine than in recent years.. a LOT more. Our squirrel population is exploding. We've been raking them up and throwing them in sealed garbage cans.
Maybe they should come to my house and collect them for the sparse areas?:)
Of course they aren't, that isn't the point. The point is, they have a significant naval presence in the Pacific, and are more than enough reason to conduct sonar training exercises there.
I did, I initially thought he was just talking about the smaller stuff for prototyping.
You'd be surprised though at some of the smaller parts you can get from a junkyard. Don't overlook speedometer heads, angle drives to drive a speedometer, power seat motors, power and manual window mechanisms, wiper motors, tape decks...
> I wouldn't be surprised if the whole spider/diff issue came from some college Intern with initiative, working on his own.... and this college intern is the future of the party. Working on his own? That's pretty much how things work. Very few people working on a campaign have strict marching orders. Most have full time jobs and are doing what they can on their own time, based on the skills they have.
I like the idea of an anti-sniping system like this. Auction ends at Xo'clock on Y date, or 15 minutes to an hour (give the seller some control here) after the last bid is received, which ever comes later. You could even change the minimum bid-raise amount once an auction goes into "overtime", maybe 1% of the current price rounded to the nearest whole dollar amount. $490 TV would require $5 minimum bid increments after the initial close. Seller should always have the option to close an auction and accept the current high bid after the initial scheduled close.
I agree and love this feature. It's close enough for me to use it to generate directions to a known destination and using the "My Location" as a starting point. If it's a half mile off my starting point, it's really not a big deal. Turn left on Main in.25 miles? I'm already on Main thanks, so skip to the next direction.
I used it yesterday on the interstate. Update the directions using my same destination, but recalculating using my current location to re-estimate my arrival time. Even at two miles accuracy it still would have been fine for that.
I have a bluetooth GPS puck, and if I need accuracy, or I'm going into the woods, I'll use that.

No, then the unions will cause the chips to cost 4X as much..

Don't most muggers take peoples watches anyway?
Yeah, when someone takes my gun away to use it against me, they'll have to use it as a blunt force weapon, because it'll be empty.

China has plenty of subs, and I promise you they don't give a crap about whales.

Transmissions, differentials, and front wheel spindles on RWD cars ready for the crusher.
I'm sure they send the same unknown word out to multiple people, and wait for a concensus on it.
Now, if we ALL started entering "penis" for the obvious unknown words.. :)
The National Recreational Trail Fund Act?

With all those steel panels, you'll get GREATE wireless reception. :) Make sure it's well grounded in the next lighting storm too.
My .38 snub nose double action revolver has about the same trigger pull as a stock .45 1911 semiauto.

But.. but.. that would be illegal.
