You are not missing the point at all. As we have all seen the past few months, spammers will do anything to get their messages out. I believe the only way to stop spammers is to stop their revenue flow. Charging a small fee for using e-mail may be the only way to stop spammers. Again they may find a way around this system.
If all else fails we always have the mafia. Everyone should pool their money together and hire hitmen.
Intel is changing their naming scheme soon. You can find the article at:
http://news.com.com/2100-1006-5174895.html
Intel was forced into this due to the many variations of a chip with the same clock speed. It's also a good way for them to explain why their Pentium-m is faster than the Pentium 4-m.
I bought the T-shirt and it is great!! The T-shirt itself is a Hanes Beefy-T. After a few dozen washes the t-shirt has not shrunk and the logo has not faded. I'm glad the Mozilla store decided to make a quality product instead of just throwing their name on anything.
Where does this myth of anonymity online come from? People should expect privacy on the internet but you must always assume that someone could be watching you and identify you. You expect privacy at home but you can still be identified. You must treat the internet the same way. Am I a little paranoid, yes.
The only place I expect anonymity is in Las Vegas because as they say what happens there stays there. Just ask Ms. Spears.
Microsoft makes most of their $ from OEMs like Dell and HP. I doubt they will do anything except spreading FUD. Microsoft would be cutting their own balls off if they cut ties with HP/Compaq.
I have had the same results. After ordering a double headed nickel from the back of an unnamed publication I always seem to win the coin toss. Who would have thought?
Yes defacing US currency is against the law only if you attempt to use the defaced currency. In a paranoid fit you can microwave all the Jacksons you want however the they should be sent to me first for inspection. I wouldn't want the man to destroy any non-RFID bills!!
An explaination for the money "exploding" is simple. All US notes above $5 contain metal in them. Hold the bill up to a light and you will see a thin strip on the bill. This strip is infact metal. I don't know if this is true but I have also heard that the paper used to make the bills contains small strands of metal among the paper and cloth fibers.
The author is obviously against RFID tags and is using money because it is something we can all relate to (some more than others.) He is just trying to raise awareness of the issue. I personally feel he could have done it in a different way but then again we might not be talking about it now if he had.
Since this company decided to pay the license, SCO may correct that their IP was leaked into Linux. We really should take them seriously since (slaps self in face) Help!!! Help!!! (Head bashes on desk)
Sorry about the previous comments. My evil twin was in control. I am back now. F#%$ SCO!!!!
"This is a concept the young replublican, right wing, econ-nazis' need to learn to deal with..."
Your points were great until you had to start the name calling. Calling republicans nazis makes your credibility zero.
This is a concept the young democrat, left wing, econ-commies need to learn to deal with, or as Dlylan said these times will be a changin'. It's not so nice the other way around, is it?
Yes times can change. I don't know if you realize this but we live in a democracy. We elect our leaders. In about eight months you and I will have an opportunity to elect a new President. Our system is great however over half of the U.S's eligible voters don't vote. This fact angers me deeply. We take our system for granted and then complain.
Our GDP per capita is the highest in the world. Poverty as defined is the U.S. is nothing like it is in Africa where I lived for two years. I saw things that disturb me to this day. At least in this country you won't die if you are unemployed.
Enough of my ranting and raving. Sorry for trolling and flaming but after living in what seemed as hell for two years and experiencing a truly corupt government it makes me upset when someone attacks a group of people whom they don't agree with. Instead of attacking debate them.
I wonder if www.whitehouse.com is considered misleading. I'm sure many people have been tricked (including myself). I must say however that www.whitehouse.com is much more interesting and informative than www.whitehouse.gov.
It will track whether you bought a chicken taco or beef taco at Taco Bell. Currently this technology cannot track chicken and beef but Ford hopes with more R&D it will be possible in the future.
You can link multiple DVD disc changers together. It might not be the most romantic idea but it will be reliable. I think Sony makes a few models with this capability.
Ok, I'm back. What I was going to say is that I am tired of this over use of the word dead. A technology isn't dead if people are still using......sorry, my Bluetooth enabled phone is ringing.
Set up a private fund that would give money to individuals who seek out and bring spammers to justice. These individuals could somehow *cough* convince spammers to not spam anymore. (Some money would also be used to bribe public officials to "look the other way.")
Once spamming becomes the most dangerous job less people will decide to make that career path.
Seriously, we must expose who is doing the spamming. Once people are out in the open, they may be less willing to send spam.
Sure, 32 bit is fine NOW but in the future there will be more intensive software that will require more RAM.
This is just a guess but I wouldn't be suprised in "Longhorn" will be native 64 bit. Maybe Microsoft is waiting for the hardware to catchup so their inefficient code can take advantage of more memory. (I know, it's a cheap shot at Microsoft)
Money. Back in my day (not to long ago) the price to play a game was 25 cents. Today if you go into an arcade many games are $1.00 or more. I can't afford these prices. What do you expect children to do? (If you answered go to their parents for money you are right)
Well what does the parent (me) say. "Well back in my day, playing these machines only cost 25 cents."

Dog? I always that chihauhaus were large rats.

This is basically a I'll show you mine if you show me your's (code that is) type of situation.
"Neither. Being that it's part of SCO's pump and dump scam I'd call it fraud."
Also simply known as Bullshit.

What will happen first? A lawsuit from SCO or a DDos against SCO?
Thoughts anyone?
I don't know about you but I need physical proof of this. I say the winner must travel to a black hole and prove that matter exists within the hole.

Unless Microsoft included some of *cough* SCO's code into Windows, I don't think you will have a chance of being sued.
Searching Google "Windows Source Code"
Wow what's this?
windowssourcecode.tar downloaded sucessfully
Well form the looks of it, Microsoft might be the first to be sued by SCO!!! (not flamebait, joke)

I mean really, who runs IE 5 anyway. I'm sure that most corporate network admins keep up with updating IE. Let me check on a random company machine...
Help-About Internet Explorer-.....Never mind my previous comment.
This is all speculation. Please wait until all the FACTS come out. Thank you.
