Who told you that? I know for certian that when i flew direct from nikita (tokyo) to heathrowe (london) it flew west, and i highly doubt that british airways would take the long way
Plextor was once king, but now i dont think they stand above the rest to merrit the expense. i recently got a drive that writes all formats for AU$170, admittedly it was only +4x/-4x, but I'm sure you could find a better priced drive than US$200
It is identical to the Windows version...there are zero differences.
If we're talking about UT (not UT200X, the old glide optomised original)then you're wrong. on UT on windows I get horrid mouselag, on linux its smooth as silk. thats at least one difference./me assumes grandparent poster was trolling or didnt understand he needed to install some 3d accelerated drivers to play
knowing which cd its on is only half the problem. just the idea of sorting through 600+ cds scares me, without even considering the drastic amount of space it would take up
crashed less than firefox anyway Geeze man, what are you doing to make firefox crash? i'm yet to see it happen. maybe its a faulty stick of ram or a generally unstable system causing your problems
you're saying cd's are more reliable than hdd's? if i were to count how many cd's ive had that have developed crc problems (making files unreadable) I'd be here for a LONG time
I also was never taught in school how many cups in a pint, etcetera, since we would all be using metric by the time I grew up. ...and a lot of less stubborn nations are. the only ones who seem to resist the advantages of metric are those who almost seem afraid to learn a new way, regardless of it will benefit in the long run
they removed the abililty to pick up hookers in the 2nd australian release after their recall of the first release. i dont know what the grandparent poster was talking about when he mentioned a "scene" involving it, nor to do remember the windows fogging up at all in the uncensored copy
competition for the gba? that like saying that the playstation was competition for the snes. by the time this thing finally comes out it'll probably be competing with the Nintendo DS and the sucessor for the GBA
muggers must love you, being able to see if its worth mugging you or not just by watching you count it out like that

I also wonder what I'll actually fill all this space with.
umm... data?
i had 75gxp's die on me as well. wasnt until the 3rd replacement drive that the shop i bought it from had the sense to let me have a different brand.

this might even work like a slashdotting in reverse. the more slashdotters who go and get the video, the more bandwidth available to all!
