But come on, what you fail to acknowledge is that the people who run these bittorrent trackers have full knowledge of what is being passed accross their lines. They are supplying access to a tracker which 99% of the files point to pirated wares, then go ahead to say they are not responsible and can not be held reliable for what other people do.
How about what they do, because it sounds a lot to me like they are handing people a gun with knowledge of the murder about to happen. Last I checked, that was illegal too.
And it's not that I do not support filesharing, it's just most people don't seem to want to accept the truths. What if it was your costly software which was being distributed on bittorrent? Would you track down and call up all the thousands of people who downloaded it, or would you e-mail the guy who runs the tracker and tell him to take it down.
I do believe that the music and movie industry are over-reacting a lot, but so are we. Go, download your free software-and when your source gets shut down, just be thankful they weren't coming after you.
I'd rather not use an operating system which does not support half the applications I use on a daily basis on Windows. Until these things get ported, I will remain a Windows user.
Also, linux ati drivers just aren't as good as Windows ones.
Linux needs to be more uniform to standards. Not this driverset works with redhat, this one with slackware. Or this application package only runs on mandrake. And what the hell is with custom applications per window manager? It's just down right annoying.
This would give a whole new meaning to cybersex..
And could you imagine the GNAA using this technology to spread goatse? It would be a whole new level of disturbing.
I've always believed that you could go back in time and change anything because it would not affect your time-displaced self. However you would not be able to go back to the future in the same time-line as you are from unless you went back and prevented yourself from screwing things up.
They most likely referred you to foobar2000 so you would stop complaining and filling their forums up with crap. They hoped you would never look back. You fell right into their plans!
Internet Explorer is the mspaint of web browsers. The only purpose of it's existence is to be there so lazy people don't have to look straight for alternatives.
The day ie is ripped out of windows and made completely separate, is the day we will see more updates and less security holes.
Why should they update, they own more than half the web browsers only because they are lazy. If the users HAD to make a choice, they no doubt would make a better one than ie. MS knows this, and that is the reason they are so reluctant to take ie out of windows. Why update more than they have to?
I've known about this for quite a while. Comcast sent me the letter weeks ago.
These new speeds are still horrible. When I first got cable modem years ago, it was Comcast@Home, and I received 4Mbps upload AND download.
The download may be faster after this, but the upload is still far lower than it use to be. From 4Mbps to 384Kbps is a real big cap. That is only ~8x the speed 56k modem.
Oddly enough, I still pay the same price for service, which gives me less speed than I started out with.
I don't pretend to know much about anything, but I've been addicted to computers since I was about nine. Being 19 now, and still just as much addicted as the first day I logged onto IRC, I have no problems at all.
I don't use the homerow when I type. I can type long reports at an average of ~100wpm, my fastest was 132wpm. Those speeds are a few years old.
Maybe not using the homerow will give me an advantage, since my fingers aren't in the same place the majority of the day, or curved around when I type. They usually stay extended outward until i go to press the key.
Now they don't only have to worry about Google, but they've been Slashdotted as well. They should of at least posted a counter on their temp page for us all. Sheesh.
Pirated Edition.
exactly what he said.

In Societ Russia the matter makes you.

Are there a lot of funny mods on today, or are large lasers and fusion reactions just extremely funny topics?
He did in the first season. And I'm pretty sure he had something that looked like a remote!
Aren't there like..sharks in the ocean?

And I didn't know about any reward money. Am I really that far out of the loop?

On my twenty first birthday I'm changing my name to "Iam Reel Leet"
What?! And give up Solitaire? You're crazy!
Speaking of shit-for-brains AC's...
I would love to hear you say all that in with a british accent. I'm a stupid American and fancy these things.
The format command for Linux is not that much different than Windows.
This time taking down a site I frequent. GOOD LUCK NEOWIN!

Encryption of files and archives using 5 different methods: Blowfish (128-bit), DES (64-bit), Triple DES (128-bit), AES 128-bit, and AES 256-bit.
That, plus all this here would be why I use Power Archiver.
Slashdot linking is like packeting on port 80.
So, what we need is to drink six cups of coffee a day and six glasses of red wine.
