I agree, this game was a ton of fun to play through and I very much enjoyed it. Also it does not seem that the person rating this great game actually played through it more than once. The endings are very much different depending on what path you take throughout the game. Being able to jump anywhere into the plot-line after finishing the game once and getting the choice of "good or evil" gives this game more replay value than the rater gave it credit for. Do I think it was a 10/10? No, but it deserves at least a solid 8 with my only complaint being that it should have lasted longer and there could have been some more variations in baddies. Also I bought the PS2 version, for a console almost devoid of any decent FPS games Darkwatch was a great addition to my collection.
If FPS games aren't for you, or this game/genre doesn't pique your interest you don't have to open your mouth and put it down without every playing or seeing it. In other words, if the only comment you have to make is to bash a game you have never played: SHUT UP!
The fact that there are so many typos (as ridiculed above) or the fact that Suicidegirls posted this news topic hours before/. did.

When I downloaded 8 onto my laptop it showed up exactly like that. When I downloaded it to my desktop it re-used my preferences and skin from Opera 7.x

What ads are you trying to block? I have never had problems with popups in Opera, and if it is a popup I want to recieve it informs me that one has been blocked and I can click to view it.
This is a p2p service focussed mostly on a genre of music in which your status raises with your obscurity? So in effect by joining this service Indy artists are "selling out"...
Trying to stay on topic here (and not start a religious debate), but this "faxing" of a human might work in the physical sense, but what is to guarantee that your memories/essence/soul/etc. stay perfectly intact?
I mean I forget enough allready!
They were talked about on/. earlier this week (or was it last week?). They decided to fight the RIAA when issued a Cease and Desist and are taking donations. They also happen to have a bunch of torrents worth taking a look at.
The FIRST Competition can only be competed in by highschool teams. That said, they almost always have some sort of sponsorship from a large corporation or many smaller businesses. The fee for a team to go to one event was $3000 when I was on a team (GO 904!) and then $2000 for every competition after that.
Also another thing that makes this competition unique is that every team starts with the same basic kit of parts, and are limited to certain parts that they can buy separately, despite this there are often huge differences in design, usually due to game strategy theory.
The largest amount of money involved comes from sponsors and from corporations offering scholarships to team members, some of which are very generous.
my brother is the diabetic, and this was told to him by the nurse/doctor. it might have been a range of 50 (+-25) but I seem to recall it being rather high considering they want him within a range of 30.
My brother was diagnosed with juvenile diabetes about 6 years ago, he was 10 at the time. He went for almost two years on shots and then started using the Mini-Med insulin pump. He had some problems with it to begin with, but the pump has been one of the best things for him in getting his life back.
He now has to use special lotions on his hands and fingertips because of the caluses that have grown from him having to test his blood sugar. He tried the testers that you can take blood from your arm or leg, but he didnt like them, and they were more costly than the tester he uses now.
I have thought about the pump and how part of it is always inside of him; I'd think it should be possible to do something similar with any range of diabetic requirements, including blood sugar testing, glucagon kits (for dangerously low blood sugar), as well as insulin delivery.
Good luck in your studies, I hope that they lead to something that can help my brother in the future.
The DoD is just as bad. Their password policy just to get onto AKO (Army Knowledge Online; has almost nil personal info) is to require a password no longer than 12 and must include 2 caps, 2 lowercase, 2 special symbols (but many are not allowed) and 2 numbers. Also the username is often not in the same syntax for each person, at least 5 different syntaxes that I know of, even more for names like Smith.
I never had any problems remembering my password before and it was easy enough for me to remember a relatively complex password (that is no longer allowed due to above restrictions). I changed it and immediately forgot it, despite it being as similar to my last password as I would make it.
I'm sure we allready knew this stuff, but I wanted to read it but we slashdotted them allready.
On a similar subject, is it possible to effectively turn IE off so it cannot be accessed except manually?
Another problem with the LASIK or "flap" is that the flap never fully heals (with either method). People who have gotten LASIK surgery and afterards (sometimes years) participated in a high velocity sport (water skiing, motorcycle riding etc.) have suddenly lost vision. It seems that the cut made for the flap never fully heals and if it manages to get opened at a high velocity (such as the above mentioned examples) the person's cornea can get sucked out.
That said, PRK is now legal in the US and is the only form of laser eye surgery that the US Military will allow it's pilots to have.
I must agree, if the refridgerator were to be used as the computer cooling system it would be an awesome mod, but as it is the fridge probably adds heat to the system.
I think the case itself is pretty kewl tho, don't see too many glowing purple wooden PC's around.

And for $32,000 I should own more than just the lectures.
I did say it would be the improper way of making 8 (that is VIII by the way).
V is 5 IIV is 3 (although improper) so perhaps VIIV is 8? Although I think 64 is probably more likely to be the answer.

I had thought that the more recent statistics showed something more like a 5/90 rule...

Go figure, they will probably think it is some type of American attack to bring down their website.
