How do you figure you can trade in games for $25 to $35? At the closest EB to me, it's $5 a game regardless of price, and they don't accept sports games.
I've been looking forward to the next big thing from Morgan Stanley, and it looks like they're entering the gaming market! Article says that they've co-developed the Cell with Sony and Toshiba, sounds fascinating.
As they talk about in the article, they've been the victim of horrible marketing. I didnt even know Stranger had come out, which it apparently has. When that's the level of people's notice of you, you can't really succeed.
They've been posted before from people hosting things offsite. Usually they're about 30% Firefox, 60% IE, and 10% mixture of other browsers (Safari, Konqueror, etc.)
I agree that the Controller S is by far the best controller of this generation, and in my opinion it's only rival for best controller ever is the Genesis controller (for the comfort vs. placement issues, at least). However, the original Xbox controller was clunky and annoying to use, and that's what these images remind me of.
Just as a side note in relation to this story, there have been controller pics floating around for a few days now (seen here). It would appear that Microsoft has learned nothing from the debacle of the original Xbox controller; this thing looks horribly uncomfortable to hold.
I believe they shipped 1 million units to America, which means they sold just over half of their stock in the first week. While this isn't bad, all the media outlets were reporting forecasts of being totally sold out and impossible to find. I know there were 11 units at Target when I went there last week, and 5 at another, more local chain of retail stores. Not too impressive, overall.
800,000+ Userids, but that's not including alts, people who no longer visit/., and people who wouldn't pay. I'd say once you take out those, probably you could end up around 100k users willing to pay to maintain voyager.
This image, and a similar image of a car, have been floating around for weeks. I'd hardly call that 'unveiling'.

I think they meant 'files', rather than 'programs'. Just a guess, but it seems far more reasonable that way.
I think 30 seconds is far too optimistic.
And how would you recommend Existentialism being represented in a video game?

there are 'Free Day Passes' that let you be a subscriber for a few hours, maybe that's all.

Anyone else notice that their picture of the Milky Way galaxy has 5 arms? If this is coming from the crack team of scientists, I'm a bit suspicious.
I believe that's called 'Totalfark'.
I was going to say for old comps without internet access, but they probably won't have a DVD-ROM drive....hmm....

They actually sell their monopoly, so I don't think that laws apply.
Love how they're running windows with the default theme...at least they use Firefox.
Moore's original observation, that transistor density doubles every 18 months

...increase their market share...
I'm not sure you quite understand how euthanasia works...
that's a fancy PSP, what with the special-edition Y button and all.
Can we come out now?
they don't.
Quoting that exact OSTG disclaimer in Google should be fun in a few weeks...
It's amazing the number of people that feel the need to point out that these stories are jokes.
