  1. This image... on Electronic Arts Reveals Next-Gen Madden · · Score: 1

This image, and a similar image of a car, have been floating around for weeks. I'd hardly call that 'unveiling'.

  2. Re:Debunking a few things on GameStop buys EB · · Score: 1

How do you figure you can trade in games for $25 to $35? At the closest EB to me, it's $5 a game regardless of price, and they don't accept sports games.

  3. Glad to hear it! on The Next-Gen Consoles - Sort Fact From Fiction · · Score: 1

I've been looking forward to the next big thing from Morgan Stanley, and it looks like they're entering the gaming market! Article says that they've co-developed the Cell with Sony and Toshiba, sounds fascinating.

  4. Bad marketing on OddWorld Inhabitants Leaving the Gaming Industry · · Score: 3, Interesting

As they talk about in the article, they've been the victim of horrible marketing. I didnt even know Stranger had come out, which it apparently has. When that's the level of people's notice of you, you can't really succeed.

  9. Re:Controller on Xbox360 Name Confirmed · · Score: 1

I agree that the Controller S is by far the best controller of this generation, and in my opinion it's only rival for best controller ever is the Genesis controller (for the comfort vs. placement issues, at least). However, the original Xbox controller was clunky and annoying to use, and that's what these images remind me of.

  11. Controller on Xbox360 Name Confirmed · · Score: 4, Interesting

Just as a side note in relation to this story, there have been controller pics floating around for a few days now (seen here). It would appear that Microsoft has learned nothing from the debacle of the original Xbox controller; this thing looks horribly uncomfortable to hold.

  15. Shipped 1 million to America on First Week PSP Sales Results · · Score: 1

I believe they shipped 1 million units to America, which means they sold just over half of their stock in the first week. While this isn't bad, all the media outlets were reporting forecasts of being totally sold out and impossible to find. I know there were 11 units at Target when I went there last week, and 5 at another, more local chain of retail stores. Not too impressive, overall.
