I ordered Broadband, the bill only had a charge for the connection+the modem rental. Now the price very well be higher because they know you get cable.
as far as the State attorney, I can't steal something thats given to me. I didn't mess with any of the cabling, etc, did not have a bootleg cable box. They can't sue me for having a TV in my house.
unfortunately however, I bought two HDTV flat screens, and one didn't have a tuner, so in order to take advantage of HD, I ordered digital. It is way overpriced - but a real show stopper when company is over.
is this, TV only or is it Cable as well. Potential problem, even if it has cable capabilities is that cable companies are moving towards all digital, where you must use thier boxes. However, presently (at least in MD) you can still get the old signal. FREE (don't tell Comcast), if you have broadband
You guys/gals missed the obvious problem here. Certainly there will be tremendous water problems in this building.
Several leaks will appear in the roof, which will require a never ending number of *patches*. However, these patches will then cause an ever increasing static load on the roof, requiring removal of certain Fixtures in the building. These fixtures in the building must be removed because the building can no longer *support* them.
Next, due to all of the leaks and subsequent rise in relative humidity inside the building, mold will form at an astounding rate, spreading to other buildings. Then, one of the biology students in attemp to 'help', will introduce a mold *VIRUS* which will spread like wildfire to all of the *buildings* on campus
Now this very well be due to a corrupted install, as it usually happens when I run Nero 6 (patched recently). No warning, it just reboots. Last night, it crashed and the only thing I was running was firefox - wouldn't give me the ctrl-alt-delete processes options either.

can even do this to a certain degree with plug-ins. using Neatimage, which has noise profiles of many devices, and the 10% zoom rule [zoom images in increments of 10%] - with unsharp mask, you can get some damned good digital zooms.
There are other packages out there, as well, like Intellisharpen
Again, not that these things are killer apps for Digital Zoom as opposed to optical, buth they are damned good.
Woodruff had the largest rooms, I believe. Then they built ULC - friggin apartments for mostly the athletes, complete with stoves, fridges, et al. Don't know what happened after the olympics, though I think all of those dorms went to Georgia State

Seriously, can a private (or even state funded) entity ban the public from accessing an FCC licensed spectrum? I know that organizations, such as home owners associations, etc. cannot prevent an individual from accessing the sky, even if it interferes with architectural restrictions, etc.? Not saying they can't, but I would like to find the relevant law on the subject matter.

US News reports that crop circles were back. This time the phoenomena are stranger and more intriguing than ever.
Dr. M. Shamalanian had this to say:
This is clearly evidence of an intelligence besides our own, and evidently an attempt from a different species at communicating in our own words. It certainly isn't human communication, since the spelling mysteriously confuses words and numbers. Probably an indication that the Alien life form has a hard time distinguishing between our similiar characters .
Nevertheless, the phrase "w3 7337 Pwnz j00" is definitely some form of archaic attempt at communiation in our own language.
Now I can power my car for free, and for an indefinite period of time with all of those unused AOL CD's I saved. Not to mention all of the junk mail that has increased exponentially since the DO NOT CALL list came into being.
