take a hiatus. And in the meantime, someone get Firefly back on the air. Firefly had some problems (Doctor and his sister developed too slowly), but I felt the writing and timing the actors had made it a great show.
Fox has the rights for 10 years, so no more episodes I guess. Oh well, I'll just wait for the movie.
I did like Judgement Rites. Of course, I love those old point and click adventure games. I miss the days of King's Quest (Six was awesome) and Quest for Glory (the remake of So You Want to be a Hero? was fantastic.)
I think there was another point and click ST game, but I don't remember the name right now.
Sure. So an Brit who offends Robert Mugabe, apparently an offence in Zimbabwe, should be extradited to stand trial in Harare.
Mugabe can try, but Britain would never allow it. Just like France refuses to extradite the Unicorn Killer. In this case, the U.S. asked Australia to extradite him. They complied. An Australian court said send him to America. Seems like the U.S. respected their laws pretty well.
Make sure you don't include those of us who have to use IE. I'm not at home right now and the only place I can get on the net is at work. I tried to get our admin to allow me to download Mozilla, but he said no. I don't know why. Maybe job security.

I remember college. I read Lady Chatterly's Lover there. How was the Lord's book?
Why is this a troll? I could see MS licensing the Doom 3 engine. We really haven't seen any progress on Perfect Dark Zero. The Doom 3 engine is the best you'll get on the Xbox; why not use it for PDZ?
I wouldn't be suprised if it was. And after they get the Doom 3 engine they'll switch to the HL2 engine when it's released. Of course, they'll spend a few months of development time discussing whether they should wait for the next Unreal engine. Then bam! In 2040, after Epic goes under and id is bought out by ValuSoft, the world is blessed with Duke Nukem Forever (as a hidden game on a Midway Classics compilation disk for the Phantom 12.4.34.
Actually, to send the right message we should post a story about ZDnet and/. their servers. See how much traffic you would have missed if there was no link? Damn, ZDnet should pay/.
I know Majesco isn't the best publisher, but BloodRayne was a good game and BR2 looks even better. They also have the rights to Advent Rising. So I wouldn't call Majesco a value publisher like ValuSoft. They're a smaller publisher with some good games and some low-price fodder so I wouldn't write Psychonauts off just yet.
You should try X2 The Threat. It's a pretty good space combat sim. It's got a decent story and mission based campaign, but you can fly around and do what you want as well. You can even buy a huge fleet of ships including capital ships. In the next patch (update) they are putting in a lot of cool features.
Also, they're working on a MMORPG based on the X2 universe with a lot of the same properties of the game. Looks promising.
Actually that quote doesn't have anything to do with Canadian independence. It's a quote from one of Martin's speeches to Canadian WWII vets. Yes, he said Norway instead of Normandy twice. However, it's only fair if everyone can make fun of Bush for slips ups. Martin isn't nearly as bad as Bush, but he has his moments.
Allegiance came out in March 2000. The Xbox was put out in November 2001. Not that close. Also, I really don't think killing Allegiance would increase Xbox sales. Ending a MMORPG to force people to buy a console with no MMORPGs at all doesn't make much sense. Like another poster said, they developed Dungeon Siege and Rise of Nations and they are making a Dungeon Siege II. If they really wanted to make people buy Xboxes then they would only make games for the Xbox.
I agree. This has actually happened for a MMORPG. It's called Allegiance and was created by Microsoft.

I'm very tempted to download it and see what the fans have done.
About 60 years ago. The same time Canada was working with their American and British allies planning the invasion of Norway and liberation of Europe.
Hope this helps.

While I don't think that PC gaming is dead (I don't think it ever will be), but I believe that MMORPGs and the death of the single player game have contributed to the fall of PC gaming. Devs no longer work on a great single player game like id is trying to do with Doom III. They put a simple single player campaign and then put in multiplayer. This isn't bad, however, the single player game is bad so if multiplayer isn't your thing too bad. Also, and this is the big one for me, MMORPGs and multiplayer focused games are hurting the advancement of AI. Devs no longer need to worry about good AI since players play against humans. And if current MMORPGs are any measuring stick then you cannot trust human users to give the player the experience you want.
Let's see, how can I explain this without blowing your mind? Heisenberg's Uncertainty principle tells us that at a specific curvature of space knowledge can be transferred into energy. Or, and this is key now, matter.
It doesn't?
Well, some people struggle with Heisenberg.
Look, here's a toy. It goes up and down on a string isn't that fun?
Mr. Whedon has said that he was inspired to create Firefly while reading the book, "Killer Angels." KA is a book about the battle of Gettysburg.
I think he "wrote" it with the wrong end.
I don't know. I had to read The Picture of Dorian Gray in college, and I feel like I've been molested.

And here's my vague memory of the Family Guy joke.
Kirk: Ok, the landing party will be me, Spock, Bones and Ensign Ricky.
Ensign Ricky: Oh, crap.

There's also a lot of outdoor recreation enthusiasts playing that game as well.
Well, if you look here, these computers all go to 32. You see? And ours go to 64. . .all across the board. 64. . .64. . .64. . .64.
. .
And does that make it faster?
Well, it's twice as fast, isn't it?
Well, why don't you just make a faster 32 bit computer instead of a 64 bit?
. .
. .
These go to 64.

Fable is a "finger-twitcher shoot-em-up?" Dude, stay away from the crack.

This is, of course, all according to Dr. Meatwad
And furthermore, Hangar 18 is at Wright Patterson Air Force Base in Ohio.
Yes! My alma mater in there at #1. I can't wait to get back there. . .in 2007.
Damn you enlistment contract! All this just because I didn't want to pay tax on a pack of gum. That dog won't hunt, monseigneur.
