    I've got an LG "Chocolate" Vx8550, Here in western pennsylvania (anywhere between State College and the Ohio border) I have almost perfect EV-DO coverage.

    I don't know about AWT, but i can justify their disallowing of floats or doubles. Most microcontrollers on mobile phones don't have floating point units. They can be simulated in software, but this is very slow. This is why doing floating point math on a mobile is very discouraged.

    The cook stove isn't a mechanical device. A bow is a mechanical source (like a spring), but no advantage, unless it's something fancy such as a compound bow, which uses pulleys to manipulate the force from the bow. A sled or boat has no mechanical advantage either, they just reduce friction.

    These six simple machines can be broken down further, given that a screw is a special case of a ramp, and a wheel and axle is a special case of a lever.

    I can't speak for india, but i just graduated with a Computer Engineering degree from a public university in the US (PSU) and we used almost all Solaris.

    I know it seems like a digital technology quote, but the "no such thing as 2" thing is actually an astronomy reference. It basically references the fact that in this infinite universe, it is possible for something to either not exist, be unique (only one of a given thing exists), or there are many. To have two of something would violate some level of logic.

    Supply and demand...there aren't enough people willing to give up their copies of harvest moon to drive the price down. The game is out of print, therefore, people holding on to their cartridges keeps the price high.

    using allocators like udev, you can assign a specific file descriptor to each usb serial number. This would allow for consistent mapping...
