    it's an interesting concept, but pointless, at least in an FPS, where your "head" is moved by your right hand, not your neck. If you turn your head to look around the room, your ingame view is always dead ahead.

    It's not marketted at you. It's for people with a) no computer, b) an old computer that they'd rather not replace, but does not support the ipod, or c) use an alternative operating system in which ipod support is abysmal.

    As a student who just destroyed a phone (taking it out to parties and such), i prefer the phone/pda to the smartphone. my phone needs to be cheap enough that i can take it anywhere (camping, biking, out drinking, etc...) and not worry about it.

    By 16, the child has matured to the point where you can (try) to reason with them. Younger kids respond much better to immediate consequences. It's how the brain works.

    Wattage has nothing to do with battery life. The fact that the battery can put out 3 more watts just means it's capable of more throughput...think of it like a widemouth beer can. It's increased flow has nothing to do with capacity.

    You don't even need to measure the resistance of the load. You could just use an active load to sinc voltage dynamically.

    The wider the conductor, the less resistance. If copper wire gets wide enough, it becomes a bar.

    Wrongly so. I won't lie, I was spanked as a kid. I am now 20, in college, getting good grades, and well adjusted. I think my upbringing was appropriate, and in no way abusive.

    I am a pacifist for the most part. I also have an unreal tournament addiction. It's been years since I hit another person.

    I thank my parents all the time for my good childhood.

    Taking a calc class with a laptop is a nightmare. I generally use a laptop for most of my classes....it was one calc lecture freshman year that put me back to the pencil for all math courses. I hardly use the damn laptop at all anymore.

    Wrong. Software is irrelevant.

    The computer serves one purpose: to get your work done.

    Windows/Office/Winamp and Linux/Openoffice/XMMS are two means to the same end. What this guy needs to do is look at exactly what those computers are used for and see if mature packages exist for doing the job.
