...that site *must* be a spoof. All the disclaimers and address in Palmyra Atoll is so dodgy.
Besides, I used to live out that way (Kiribati, in the early 1970s, then called the Gilbert Islands), and I don't recall hearing about these guys! Oh, wait, 1993...
I've yet to try it out, but this release claims to allow the administrator to unset the previously-mandatory Content-Location header added when mod_negotiation is in play.
This "feature" triggered an Opera "feature" that made in-document fragment anchors fail on dynamically generated, URL-rewritten documents.
Full description of the problem. Hopefully 2.0.51 means I don't need to fiddle with the Apache source any more: I'll update the problem page if so.
File extensions are so 1990s. My site doesn't use them, so TA would be useless there unless it does a HEAD request for every link and looks at the returned media type.
The ZX81 had 1K user RAM as standard, with a 16KB expansion pack. Black & white display only, with a flat keyboard. Available from 1981, superseding the similar white ZX80.
The original Spectrum was available from 1982 with either 16KB or 48KB of user RAM, with an expansion pack for the former. Colour display (no more than 2 colours per character space) and dead fish keys.
Blocked outgoing port 25 except from my Linux mail server.
My three-year-old daughter is an Administrator on my Win2k box (mutter, mutter, stupid Bob the Builder game), so if she manages to do anything that compromises the box, I won't be churning out spam now.
Radio disturbances caused by that interaction then might be picked up by the Voyager craft, giving scientists their first measurement of where the edge really is.
What? We're still receiving data from the Voyagers?!
You joke, but a microphone has sent back data from the surface of Venus. Sound levels only, rather than actual sound, but hey, at 90 bar and 450 deg C, that's not too shabby.
or I'm in trouble.
Seriously, what a stupid waste of everyone's time.

Already baked: it's called Vipul's Razor.
Yeah, it's fixed. You can now remove the Content-Location header, which works around the Opera "feature".
Explanation page updated.

One advantage of Word over TeX: its grammar checker would have warned him about that error.
Hey, the Dutch are dudes.
Intended humour aside, that may work in many browsers, but it's not valid HTML.
Use CSS styling instead.

Assuming you're talking the US, try nine days if you're very fit and certifiably crazy.
It takes nine weeks to run it, with similar entrance requirements.
Yeah, I know. I read it over your shoulder.
Note: ZX81 != Spectrum.

If you load up the newly-scanned images into an image editor and turn up the levels, there are stars recorded.

See the advice on my site which explains a few of the reasons.
What - Encarta 9, or Comptons? Ooh. I'm sure that would be of great value to Hawking's peers.
I suggest that the Wikipedia entry is misleading, if not incorrect.
Then correct Wikipedia, rather than complaining on Slashdot. That's what Wikipedia is all about - collaboration.

Sweet.
ROFL
Slashdot doesn't even use HTML properly. The coding of this site is a joke, wrt standards, as has been noted elsewhere.
My Minolta A1 should be delivered tomorrow, and now it's already discontinued and out of date.
Just like kernel releases, I guess...
Micro$$$$$$$$$$$soft.
Lameness filter workaround text goes here.

See near the end of this page.
Besides, the MS is a passively cooled 1GHz processor that performs as well as a 200 GHz pentium.
That sounds a good deal faster than anything else available. ;-)
I have wanted to put a front projection system into my home, but have no way to control ambient light during the day.
Have you considered some of these?
"Nitpick" is one word. "Paragee" is a two-letter misspelling of "perigee", although "mispelling" is a one-letter misspelling of "misspelling".
Oh, and it's "insignificant", not "insignifigant".
I had to be so careful not to make any typos in this post! ;-)
