A good "rockstar" coder in my books is one that you can ask reference questions to and get fast concise answers.
"How do I do foo?" - " Lookup bar and baz on google"
The quick redirection to useful information is super helpful to a large group of programmers.
You mean the ~$50 it costs to buy a used phone off craigslist and use it as a portable computing device with no phone service (and therefore no re-occurring cost)...
If you can't manage that then bitcoin probably isn't the problem....
Honestly if you are using bitcoin then you probably have friends with an unused android device they could just give you....
Uh... Why do you need a 700W PSU?
I am running a 750 because I have a machine with a large number of drives, a power hungry CPU (i7 920) , and a power hungry GPU (GTX 570) .
Most normal gamer builds are in the 500W or lower category these days.
Similar incident happened the year before that. Only staff wasn't told and it was done in the vendor area. (Which is generally a bad idea)
Last year was at the wall of sheep tables and I believe there was a notice by it informing people who walked by but it still got shut down and data was destroyed.
I have actually done similar tests with my and my roommates. However the one major thing is that on the track you are not reacting to the environment around you as much as you are to the turns you have repeated over and over in previous runs of the track.
I don't doubt your ability to drive but I 'DO' doubt your ability to react to other drivers (fast enough). There are way too many stupid people driving stupidly on the road to predict easily while buzzed.
Dear god/NOAA/NASA please have a landing in white sands with >2 hours of warning. Not only would my bosses let me off to drive down and see it they would probably car-pool a company van....
Since the contract was no longer binding, I think it was terribly nice of him to still offer to hand over the password.
I'm pretty sure most contracts like that ARE binding even after you quit. Otherwise disgruntled employees would leak passwords and/or sensitive materials from major corporations / government organizations to the public all the time.
Soekris boxes are nice.
FYI Boeing uses them in a few situations as routers and access points.
I personally have a 4501 at work and a 4801 at home.
P.S. the 4501 has the same 8mb Canon CF card that you have... gotta love what you get for free with a digital camera.
At the same time blizzard also host torrents of WoW that players can download and reinstall their game with. Copy protection is so lacking locally i can just copy the game to another computer and play it on that one.
The only problem with online distribution like WoW and Steam is that eventually the servers will be gone and you will no longer be able to play the game(s)
The contract shouldn't matter as long as it is GSM service as the phone companies normally don't care about the phone your using.
As for the keyboard you have a choice of usb or bluetooth.(I recommend bluetooth for geek cred)
Wow...
That logic is awesome.
Next convince them that because everyone has cell phones you don't need landline phones at the office.
Then your transformation into Wally (the guy from Dilbert) will be complete.
After seeing some comments after the news about Palm a few days ago, I'd have to say I'm happy with my treo 650. Their are countless programs available online for it, though it is not open.
I currently have a Treo 650 (Palm OS). I have just repeated been annoyed by the lack of good free (as in beer) software for it. Not to mention any time I use it for say Instant messenger and Sudoku (or anything else for that matter) I gets unhappy and reboots.
It also has a tendancy to treat my answer call button as a reboot command...
All of these repeated issues are what got me to buy my own openmoko. IMHO it is a very expensive upgrade that supports a company with a nice staff and an attempt to create a completely open phone.
Comcast backbone... HA!
Backbone (tier one) interconnects are fairly cheap.
its the last mile connections and dealing with end users that is expensive.
why do you think very few of the real backbone providers are residential ISPs.
so does that mean Irish beers have gone downhill or are they just part of a Budwiser FUD campaign now ?
(or Irishmen have gotten so drunk now they have lost the ability to taste)
(mod +1 sarcasm -1 flamebait)
my fist comp was a WANG labs exec 3000 with 2 megs of ram and a massive 40 meg hdd. it did and still does run windows 3.0 i jus unburied it his weekend and proceded to play several very old games on it.

I have an i7-920. Still have yet to hit a reason to upgrade.... I bought it on new years eve 2008.
I was wtf'ing over this. Then poe's law and I felt better.

Mod parent up... It is surprising how true that is.

What is "Yea, this is very hard to do." ... Do I get a cookie or a gold star?

Or convince upper management to create a social networking RPG where you level up / score based on your call metrics and reviews.
Generally its a subset of the original set. So anywhere from from 1 or 2 people/things to max-1 people/things. It is pretty much a useless statement.

Damn corporations always find a lookhole to continue exploiting their customers.... (fp?)
