I myself believe in GOD, I just don't believe in the bible. As I've always said. The bible is a book written by man to control man. I have no faith in churches either, they are just a conduit to try to push the "Christian belief" onto it's masses. I'm not saying that the Christian/Catholic mindset is wrong but the measures that the "Church" have used for centuries to gain it's powers go against it's very "word". How many wars have been fought due to religion in general. How many countless individuals have been killed due to "religion" I don't think GOD would be happy that people are using him as a reason to kill someone else just because they don't agree with them. One of the supposed 10 commandments are "thou shall not kill", not "thou shall not kill unless one disagrees with your religious belief"
I could go on and on but I'll stop here. This post is in no way meant to anger anyone but if it happens then well........
What I find funny about the touch screens on ATM's they still make you push the actual buttons located to the left or right of the screen for most actions.. I think the main use that I've seen on the touch screen was to choose English or Spanish so what's the point of the touch screen?
How about some device that you wear on the end of your finger (Just past your finger nail going down to your second joint). It would have to be wireless or blue tooth so there are no wires. Then you can use any surface. There would have to be proximity receiver. The advantage would be you wouldn't even have to "set it down" to type, it would be flexible, maybe have two small buttons on the side closest to your thumb. Another idea would be the possibility of using one on each hand with different functions.
At 8 hours a day that comes out to ~3.4 years which isn't bad, half that to 4 hours a day ~6.8 years, half again 13.6 years. So at 2 hours a day for "Whatever" skill you could become a world class "Whatever" that's not too far fetched. As you said, give or take for natural skill/abilities etc.
WOW, $170.00 to have the Geek Squad come over, stick a CD in and hit the Next button several times. And different flavors.. Okay, Ubuntu, Kubuntu, Xubuntu, Mediubuntu, Mythubuntu, Edubuntu, am I forgetting any?
Remember 20 years ago when people left the house without a cel phone and they didn't feel like they were "Out of communication" and then gradually phones started to become cheaper and with more crap on them. I remember the first cel phone I had.. I made calls and recieved calls..... that was it...no camera, no text messaging, no mp3 player, no computer, no touchscreen... etc etc etc... The good old days... I remember seeing an episode of the original Charlie's Angels where they had car phones... Rotary dial car phones...
If that were so then wouldn't see some sort of "Gamma Ray Disturbance" much closer to us than the actual binary star source due to the "Death Ray" traveling towards us at the speed of light as well? Take for instance this thing shot out a ray about 4000 years ago, we would see a "Gamma Ray Disturbance" 4000 light years away.
It's been pretty much my belief that it's the major AV companies that are putting this crap out there just so they can justification for their existence.. If all the virii were gone, they would have no further use. Just my theory, no docs or any other sources...
Think of the possibilities
- Virtually any cable can have a tranceiver connected to it and then to the opposing connector
- wireless SD Drives with a battery pack/power adapter option
- Hook up to your car's sound system without wires, power up only long enough to transfer data to the car stereo's memory buffer then go into standby.
- Add some kind of Logical Unit Numbering and have a stack of Wireless SD Drives sitting in a secure cabinet
- Mirror drives without a computer.
- Smart Audio Video Components.
- No confusing wires for end users, they just have to unpack and power them up. Coded signals from the components know what part of the system(s) they have to talk to, including speakers, microphones, headsets etc..
- Computer Components
- Small RJ-45 adapters turns any NIC into a wireless card powered by the NIC itself.
- Almost all cabling can be eliminated except for power.
- Built in wireless TV Tuners from the wireless cable/satellite box.
Okay, let's think about this for a second... This is for a 7 year old. It's not like they are going to have top secret government secrets on here. How secure do you have to have a computer that's going to be mainly used for going to nickjr.com or using a coloring book program?? Really let's think about this.
Who's to say the "Intelligent Designer isn't just some "higher race" and we are just the experiment? Every so often some of us are plucked out and tested to check our progress.. Just like what we do when studying organisms, creatures etc...
