Heh, until last month I was still using a Pentium III-800MHz, running Windows 98. With a 15" CRT monitor to boot:). Then decided to finally upgrade, spent $1k on components for the system and now just got a $200 19" LCD. Just wish the LCD's colors were as good as the good old Sony Trinitron..... Ah well, this system will hopefully last me another 8 years or so with minor upgrades, though from stories the WD HDD may die soon enough... Maybe I should've shelled out an extra $60 and taken the time to set up RAID1....
I suggest you videotape the phenomenon and publish it online so that slashdot scientists can perform an in depth study of the hyperentanglement properties.
Can't they just make DRM transferable? As long as there's only one working copy of the work at a time, that should be fine with them, no? You would be able to resell/transfer the license to another party, but your own copy would become invalid in the process. Same for transferring it to any other DRM-compatible device you own.
Still agree though that the FBI should have made sure the hits were coming from *that* website and not any other source with a different file description.
I can see it now, thousands of FBI agents descending on Mircrosoft, Google and Yahoo for spidering those urls.
Hmm, does this mean Janny Wurst did most of the writing for the Empire trilogy she coauthored with Raymond E. Feist? Seems she only had one book of her own come out before the first of the trilogy. If this is true, than I should definitely read more of her stuff as the Empire books are my favorite of all the Midkemia/Riftwar related material.
Third, if you're involved in a 130km/h accident, chances are the only insurance that's going to matter is life insurance.

It's $200 for a core 2 duo now (3GHz e8400 can be found for that price).
Hmm, seems to be about as NSFW as an onion article can get....

How about "Free Speech Zones"?
So that's what Dark Matter is made out of! Um, we better not use the smelloscope when it's finally invented....

FREE WILL MOTHERFUCKER! DO YOU HAVE IT??
Nope, and neither do you or anyone else (hypothetical Creator(s) of All Things included.)
*Every* religion has it's extremists.
True, but some religions seem to have way more extremists, both total and per capita, than others...
But the underage people are liable for producing kiddy porn.
I would almost care, if I didn't think pedos deserve it.
Let's get something straight. Being a pedo isn't a crime, it's a condition. Acting on those pedo urges is a crime.

Wow, it's so clear now!
Apparently I fail at reading comprehension. I blame public schooling.
Um, if you do it after it's untimely demise, it's not vivisection.
It would've been in the first season, but from everything I heard it was feeling much better by the end.
I never understood myself how they made the connection from having a song stuck in their head to being cylons.
horribly written, poorly acted, comparatively dirt cheap shows like Atlantis
Dirt cheap? Do you know how much it costs to rent the same acre of forest for every single episode?
Didn't Scotty program a new OS in 5 minutes on a 20th century computer in one of the Star Trek movies.
I completely agree. What next, fans being insulted when Miyazaki is referred to as an "anime" director instead of "japanimation" director?
I wonder how Terry Pratchett is feeling right now...
In case you weren't aware, he was recently diagnosed with early-onset Alzheimer's.....
And to this day almost no one can spot the aliens right there in plain sight (and no, they aren't the monoliths).
Yeah, no one realizes that Adams was serious about the mice.

Does that mean there will be an Authors Gone Wild version of this?
