A "good" college is one that has a reputation; it's all a huge system for keeping money in the hands of the wealthy and putting the poor on the streets where they belong. The classes that you take at X Community College will be no worse than those at Princeton.
If you can live at home for free, take some time to read books about society and culture (James Baldwin, W.E.B DuBois, A. Hacker, P.J. Palmer, J. Spring) to understand the world you are participating in.
Then, live at home and find the cheapest local college, take as many classes as you can, and then transfer to the next cheapest one that has the coursework you need.
the 8500DV has this connector for a breakout box. The connector for some reason keeps coming off and the pins are all bent. Of course, if you plug it back in hot it freezes the system.
Also, the video quality on my 8500dv is noticably blurrier than my matrox g450.
I'm running win2k and when you close the tuner app it doesn't really "close" so you constantly have to force quit and run it again.
I guess I have different feelings than most/.ers. I feel as though too much was answered, and I got to know the characters better than I wanted to.
I prefer there to be some element of mysticism and wonder remaining, and I feel as though any question I could possibly have has been answered. The audience now knows all characters, all their thoughts, all their intentions, and all their actions. There is no remaining novelty.
Also, I was not pleased with the all orchestral score; it was too much in the european tradition for my taste.
However, with all that said, it is some of the most amazing filmmaking I have ever seen; yes there are little bloops with pacing and whatnot, but overall, absolutely amazing, some of the most stunning visual effects ever, and amazingly well done; the cgi rain mixed with the real rain was seamless, and many sound effects (robots falling inside zion) were finely executed.
Of course the first one is always the favorite; everything is novel, new, and mysterious; but damn: a fine experience it is to see Matrix Revolutions, regardless!
I believe it is poor usage of links to chose "here" or "click here" as link text. It is highly undescriptive as a link. It is the equivalent of "mystery meat" links. No one enjoys mystery meat when links are images, and I don't enjoy it anymore even when the links are text.
John Cage was a revolutionary philosopher-artist-composer with some good ideas on how to be happy:-) In many ways he has incorporated Eastern thinking into Western arts.
Everytime a mozilla milestone is released the only two mods I bother installing without fail are the orbit theme, and the mouse gestures...
And the googlebar, a beautifully done open source project!
People think the google bar is about having a search box in your browser. It's not. It's about clicking on your search terms and having them found in the page. Saves me hours!!
Flouride keeps your teeth clean, however it is poisonous. Granted, in small doses, there seem to be no negative effects. However, if you think years and years of flouride won't hurt you, you're kidding yourself.
Getting old does not mean getting sick.
"Yeap, he's dead... but damn, look at those teeth!"

Get a job.
Die.
My aunt is a professional attorney and she says, "I could care less" when she really means, "I couldn't care less."
Hooray for legalese?
I just have to mention,

How about.. 1 and 2?
I think you underestimate of the power of language and how it shapes our culture.
PC language is about creating an environment we all want to live in, with respect to the force of language.

Let's see now...
.45um, so, let's map the visual range (.7um to .4um) onto the audio range (20hz-20khz),
Blue is about
blue is about 60% into the visual range, and thus we get audio "blue" at about 12000hz, or, a very sharp F#9.
there ya have it folks... nice and irritating!
and this is nothing new...

It seems apple has had this issue in consideration for some time now.
Why is it so much easier to read a barcode than some text of known size, font, orientation, etc? Seems like an easy task to me, a non-programmer.

We actually have webmail blocked on campus because the servers can't handle the load. Ha.
The people in power want to make more money. It's pretty simple. If it makes more money, it's good.
Those of you enjoying these ideas might want to check out John Cage's wonderful video, I have nothing to say and I am saying it.

Since robots will eventually take over the human race, when they dig this up they will see that they were preceded by dinosaurs.
Perhaps the remains that humans have found ARE the "disneyized" remains, and our true ancestors remain undiscovered...
Look, flouride is a poison. Why do you think it keeps your teeth so nice? Magic?
I am shocked that information is modded as flamebait. Look it up... anyone!

Species of Shakespeare Authors: Monkey
/.er.
Chances of monkey error making it into the complete works of Shakespeare: Zero
So, who wants to set enough monkeys and enough typewriters to the task of writing the Linux kernel?
Before you mod me as troll, notice that I spelled Shakespeare correctly!
Obviously I'm not your average
It is clearly the duty of the users to serve the computers. Users exist only for the computers' benefit.
And if whatever I want to happen takes longer than I'd like, it better be a damn pleasant experience along the way!
I love GE Reveal incandescent lighting. The color and atmosphere makes a big difference in my vision and my attitude.
Are there comparable flourescent options?
Does it have caffeine?
I'm trying to avoid the stuff.
The question is, do you really want to live in an environment without a status quo? Where people are unpatriotic? What of the ills of society?
You mean to tell me that outlook express will open filename.jpg.exe and run it with image preview set on?? Not even realizing that it's not an image?
Sheesh..
Hrmm.. we have: OO.o very long startup times, fonts that look like crap
MS Office: free from school, word has a window open and ready to go for me before I even have time to think about it, and you get your pretty fonts.
Ladies and gentlemen, we have a winner!
